"MARTHA! MARTHA! MARTHA!" Mary squeeled running down, and down the stairs.
"Whats all the fuss?" Martha asked.
"I need you to send this letter to a friend of mine." Mary smiled.
"A letter." Martha said with a glimmer in her eyes. "Of course. To who?"
"Her name is Sarah Crewe. Shes my best friend in the whole world, i want her to visit. Dont tell uncle, please?" She begged.
"Of course. Im sure i can keep this secrete. It will be a surprise. He will be pleased im sure when a friend of yours finally visits." Martha smiled.
"Her father is a war hero." "We were friends in India." Mary smiled.
"Is that so?" Martha smiled.
"I don't have any friends here." Mary frowned.
"You could." Martha said.
"Who? What little boys, and girls are around for me to play with?" She asked.
"Deacon." Martha smiled.
