Her mother stopped and turned to Rosabel quickly grabbing her shoulders. " Rosabel listen to me very carefully, go deep into the woods and don't you dare look back," Rosabel was frightened and held onto her mother hands tightly " What about you mother? please don't leave me behind", Rosabel saw tears in her mother's eyes as they rolled down her cheeks, her mother hugged her tightly placing her hand on her daughter's cheek, " My dear, this is as far as I can go with you". Rosabel didn't want to be alone she shook her head letting the teardrops fall. Her mother placed her coat around her and kissed upon her head " Go, while you still can, don't worry about me Rosabel you must live" her voice was stern giving Rosabel a light push" Run, now before they catch you". Confused she couldn't argue with her mother, not at a moment like this, she turned around and ran deep into the woods, stumbling over rocks and sticks, Rosabel's body and mind was still stuck in fear, trying to run faster and faster she couldn't catch her breath, her heart raced and her legs became weak but she must keep moving, the thought of her mother not being able to see her again made her worried she could not lose her family like this, her world without the people she loved would be lonely. There was no time to cry or mourn, she had to escape from the people who were attacking the kingdom but before she knew it her leg got caught in a stump, landing on her stomach, feeling the pain echoing into her body as she slowly tried to get up. She turned around and saw her mother in the distance and lights flickering, could it be that her father was safe and was able to reunite with her mother, but she took another glance as her eyes wide open as she saw her mother being lifted from the ground and thrown to the side moving lifeless as her body fell down like a wooden puppet.
