I saw Sawyer with the gun in his hand, as plain as day.
I was so shocked I couldn't catch my breath.
I saw the cashier, blood pouring down her pale face..lying on the floor.

"She was going to kill you." Sawyer said
"How would you know?" I say calmly cutting Adym off.
"I was worried about you Layla. So I peeked through your window and I saw that the cashier had a gun behind her back. So I went around to the door..I got in the house. I took the gun away from her and I shot her." Sawyer said
"You did that for me?"Adym said still in shock.
"Yeah, but..wait." Sawyer said

"Your alive?" Sawyer asked
"Apparently so, surprise?" Adym said
"You had me worried sick about you." Sawyer said again very seriously.
