When I woke up disoriented and still sleepy, I felt like I hadn't fed myself in ages. Had I had anything to eat in the last twenty four hours?

I try to remember the last time I ate and looked for my phone at the same time. Finally finding it, I let out a gasp as I realize it's four in the afternoon. I had a total of sixteen missed calls, seven from Sandra, one from mom, five from Ash, two from Jace and one from Rook. I didn't have the energy to deal with anyone on this list so I threw my phone to the side and looked around for a room service menu but then I decided I really wasn't that hungry.

I'm settling back in bed when there's a knock on my door.

I groggily walk to the door and throw it open to find a fuming Ash standing there with her hands on her hips.

"I have a feeling you're not taking this seriously,"  she said.

"What?" I gestured at her to come inside.

"This is serious," she continued, "This whole deal with you pretending to be back with Colson."

"I know," I mumbled.

"Then why haven't you been answering my calls or opening your door?"

"I was sleeping," I explained.

"For that long?"

"I slept late," After the encounter with Colson I had stayed up a good hour just thinking about it.

"You look like shit," Ash said after analyzing me for a minute.

"Thanks," I felt like shit.

"I cancelled the three interviews you guys had today,"

"Why?"

"Because neither one of you showed," she shouted angrily, "It's a good thing the interviewers thought the lovebirds were in their room busy with each other,"

"So why're you here  now?" I asked ignoring the lovebirds bit.

"We have to go to the concert venue,"

"It's like four!" Concerts don't start till well over eight.

"Rehearsals," she replied and I groaned. I was not in the mood to loiter around backstage with nothing to do while the band rehearsed.

"Can I skip?"

"No," Ash replied curtly, "There's gonna be some interviews that'll be held there,"

"Are you serious?" I whined.

"Stop whining."

"Don't tell me what to do," Our bickering was reminding me of what we were like before we became best friends. When she was so wary of me and I thought she was too uptight. Those were actually good times now that I think about them. Seemed like we had gone a full circle.
