You ran into the light
I was overshadowed by night
They ate your soul
clothing you in purity
While I gave my soul
in exchange for clarity
You traveled the path titled 'right'
when it was instead the time to fight
I fought for what was truly right
they said it was wrong for you to fight
But that was always the difference
between us
One too trusting
One too morbid
One washed in white
One enslaved to night
