Flower child of the 70's, dressed in white.
Sing me a song, remind me of our youth,
back when music was true and love was free.
My long haired lover, remind me what it feels like
to be reliant only on you.
Remind me of the summer we traveled the coast
in a pale blue van, rock and roll blaring as we drove into the sun.
Remind me of the cigarette stained sheets of cheep motels,
the sound of grey waves crashing against the shore below us.
Remind me of what it felt like to be young and in love with you,
to dance on red shag carpet in a strangers house.
Remind me what it felt like to be alive.
