Death Spells is one the side projects of Frank Iero of the popular band My Chemical Romance, and it's probably my favourite (I'm listening to it right now). Along with Frank, members include James Dewees, who was the touring keyboardist for My Chemical Romance.
Their genres are... different. One is digital hardcore (which i didn't even know was a thing before listening), punk rock, glitch, and industrial. As you know me, I love a bit of experimental and weird stuff...
Their most popular song is Fantastic Bastards.
My favourites are I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Loathe You, as well as Choke on One Another.
Also, Diluted is pretty creepy, but now i know what they mean when they say Frank writes poetry...
I am pretty much in love with frank's voice. I don't really care that people think it's a horrible voice, as I think it's amazing.
The only similar artist I can think of is Mindless Self Indulgence, but that's pretty much it.
