Hey there, I'm not dead, woohoo!
This band is called Something Corporate. Yes, it's a rather well known emo band, but emo (not just pop punk but emo) seems to be somewhat of a lesser known genre. One might argue that Something Corporate is pop punk (because they are, really), but like... it's hard to explain. It's the kind of emo the really edgy kids would put on MySpace in 2006 rawrxd but most people have since forgotten about (except probably my history teacher, because sometimes he seems to have war flashbacks about his "emotionally hardcore" days of the early 2000s).
But SERIOUSLY.
Something Corporate's genres are alternative, pop punk, and emo. They formed in 1998 and broke up somewhere between 2004-2006, although they have had reunions. Members include Andrew McMahon, Josh Partington, Kevin "Clutch" Page, Brian Ireland, Bobby "Raw" Anderson, William Tell, and Richard Hernandez. McMahon had another band as well, called Jack's Mannequin (another one I'd recommend).
