"Who's the-"

Nathalie froze. Her heart dropped when she saw Adrien. Her eyes widened.

"A-adrien?" She spoke. Adrien, unfazed, nodded. Nathalie stepped aside, inviting Adrien and Marinette into the mansion.

"I see you've changed." Nathalie smiled. Adrien looked around and turned to her.

"I'll get straight to the point. I supposed you know why I'm here?" He questioned. Nathalie's smile fell. She nodded. Adrien hummed.

"I thought so. I'll be in and out quickly, where is he?" Adrien asked.

"He's in hi-"

"In his office! Right! Like he always has been right?" Adrien interrupted Nathalie. Marinette turned to Adrien, placing her hand on his shoulder. He turned to her, his eyes darker than usual.

"Control." She whispered. Adrien's eyes transitioned to a softer tone and he nodded. He took a quick and deep breath before walking towards the door, bringing her with him.

He knocked on the door before barging in. His father came into view and he looked up.

His eyes slightly widened at the intrusion as he stood up.

"Adrien." He said. Adrien's back straightened a bit.

"Father." Adrien spoke. Marinette's eyebrows furrowed.

'He calls his dad...father?'

Adrien cleared his throat, taking a glance around the room. His father walked towards him.

"How have you been?" He asked. Adrien's eyebrows furrowed and Marinette could almost feel the negative energy radiating from him.

"How have I been? Really? Get to the point, I'm tired of being back here already." Adrien rolled his eyes. Marinette squeezed his hand. Adrien looked down at her for a second before nodding to himself and taking, yet another deep breath.

"Alright then. If that's what you please, Adrien. Please, take a seat." His father walked back to his desk and sat down. Adrien growled lowly before walking towards the seats and sitting down. Marinette followed, of course.

"As you know, You're my son. I know it's been a while since you've been here and i'm guessing you still don't have a job?" He asked Adrien. Adrien shrugged, keeping his gaze on his father.

"What about it?" Adrien asked. His father sat a little straighter.

"I want you to come model for me." He said, his tone serious. Adrien scoffed.

"I'll be leaving now." Adrien responded, standing up. Marinette stood up after him and his father turned to her.

"Alright, I expect an answer. But may I ask who this young girl is? She's followed your every move like a lost kitten." His father looked dead at Marinette. Before Adrien spoke up, Marinette stepped forwards.

"With all due respect Mr. Agreste, I'll have you know i'm nowhere close to a lost kitten. Your son has grown into a kind man that i've fallen very deeply for. I tagged along with him because we both know he could drag you if he really wanted to." Marinette responded. Mr. Agreste's jaw fell a little before he fixed his posture and turned to Adrien, who had a small smile playing on his lips.

"Have a great rest of your lonely life, Father." Adrien nodded, turning around and leaving the mansion.

The two quietly piled into Adrien's car and left.
