The next day, Marinette woke up to Alya, jumping on her bed. Marinette growled at Alya to stop.

"Alya!" Marinette shouted. Alya stopped jumping and looked at Marinette.

"What?" She asked. Marinette rolled her eyes.

"Get off of your bed. It's for sleeping, not jumping you lunatic." Marinette groaned. Alya pulled her covers.

"Stop!" She cried. Alya sighed.

"Fine. I guess you won't find out who's asking you to the prom today."

Marinette's body pushed herself up, her covers falling off of her upper body, making her shiver.

"What? Prom isn't for 5 more months." Marinette spoke. Alya sat at the end of Marinette's bed.

"Some people wanna get you before you're occupied." Alya shrugged.

"But I'm dating Adrien." Marinette spoke. Alya nodded.

"This person says he doesn't care, he wants to take you, and just you." Alya said. Marinette took a deep breath and suddenly Adrien barged into the room. He bent down, hands on his knees as he caught his breath. He looked at Marinette and pointed.

"I just heard the news. He is not taking her to prom!" Adrien shouted. Alya snickered.

"Adrien, calm down. Sit and take a minute to breath." Marinette chuckled. Adrien hesitated, then sat down on Alya's bed.

"Is he seriously gonna act like he doesn't know we're dating?" Adrien growled.

"Okay, Alya. Who is he?" Marinette asked. Alya sighed before looking at Adrien and then Marinette.

"Nathaniel Kurtzburg."

Marinette's mouth fell open.

"You're joking, I don't believe that." Marinette said. Adrien places his hands on his head.

"Alright lets just ignore it. Let's go swimming now The ocean is waiting." Adrien said, standing up. Marinette took a deep breath, trying her best not to feel uncomfortable with Nathaniel.

"Okay." Marinette said, smiling again. She got up, and walked out of the room, followed by Alya, Adrien and Nino.

"Adrien, come here!" Marinette yelled for Adrien as she swam in the ocean. Adrien chuckled as he swam closer to Marinette. She quickly sat on his shoulders and smiled at Alya. Alya took action quickly and got onto Nino's shoulders. The two girls battled with water as Adrien and Nino ran with them on their shoulders.

Nino gave out first and fell, causing Alya to fall off of his shoulders and into the water. Adrien and Marinette laughed with their friends that day.

Later on, Marinette sat on her dry towel in the sand as she stared out into the beach while Adrien, Alya and Nino played volleyball a few meters away.

"Marinette?" She heard a familiar voice. Marinette turned, her eyes meeting Nathaniel's. She stood immediately.

"Nathaniel. Hey." She said. Nathaniel smiled at Marinette.

"I wanted to ask you a question." He said. Marinette nodded, signaling him to go on. Nathaniel fixes his posture.

"Will you go to prom with me?" He asked. Marinette looked at him for a second.

"I can't do that, Nathaniel. I'm sorry. My heart's already been stolen by someone."

And then Marinette knew for sure.

She loved Adrien.
