It had been three months since Adrien had told Marinette he loved her. That night, she told him to give her time. She needed time. So Adrien gave her time. Exactly three months of it. His love for her consumed him and he felt weak whenever he gazed at her. His knees felt weak when he thought about her and he felt himself blush and warm up at just the thought of her loving him back.

"Adrien?"

Adrien shook his head, looking up from the black metal table in front of him. Marinette sat across from him, concerned.

"Are you okay?" She asked. Adrien smiled at her before nodding. Marinette grinned at Adrien before turning her gaze back at the menu in her hands. The two were sitting at a cafe, well..outside of a cafe.

Adrien cleared his throat.

"So..I've been thinking." He started.

"When are you not thinking, Adrien?" Marinette responded, her eyes still on the menu as she flipped a page. Adrien chuckled nervously. Marinette places the menu back down.

"What's up?" She asked. Adrien sighed.

"We've been friends for a while, and you know how I feel about you." Adrien started. Marinette sat up a little, looking away for a second before looking back at Adrien.

"I've waited three months for you, and I can wait more if you aren't ready. I just wanted to ask you if we could give this a shot. I need to be able to know you're mine even if you haven't said it back." Adrien said. Marinette took a deep breath before placing her hands on the table. She leaned in a little.

"So what exactly are you asking me, Adrien?" Marinette asked him. Adrien faintly smiled, taking one of her hands into both of his. He kissed her hand before he held it tightly and looked at her.

"I'm asking you to be my girlfriend." He said.

Marinette let out a breath before chuckling.

"Okay."

"Okay?" Adrien questioned. Marinette smiled again. She nodded.

"Yes, Yeah. Okay. Let's do this."
