"This is amazing!" Adrien practically drooled over the plate over the plate of the average chinese food; chow mein and some fried rice.

Marinette giggled, covering her mouth to make sure her food didn't spit out.

"It's so plain! It's good, but plain! You haven't even tried the good stuff yet!" Marinette complained. Adrien chuckled.

"Whatever, I think it's the absolute best." Adrien admitted. Marinette laughed, shaking her head. Marinette noticed a little bit of grease of Adrien's face. She pointed to it.

"You have a little something." She said, grabbing the napkin close to her. She leaned in, wiping it off.

"Thanks." He said. Marinette smiled at him.

"Of course. You're a messy eater." Marinette laughed. Adrien pouted.

"Meanie." He said. Marinette laughed again.

"Alright alright. Let's finish up. I'm in the mood for a movie." Adrien started eating again, Marinette did the same and the two finished their meals and paid for it.

They left the restaurant and made their way to the closest movie theater. The two decided on Spider-man: Far From Home. Marinette and Adrien got their popcorns and candy and settled into their seats.

Halfway through the movie, Adrien leaned into Marinette.

"Is there any popcorn left?" He asked. Marinette looked at him before turning to the large popcorn next to her. She grabbed it and handed it to Adrien, a small smile on her lips. Adrien looked at her as she looked back at the big screen.

He admired her so much, it hurt. The way she carelessly talked about the things she loved and the things she thought were wrong. How she didn't keep her opinions to herself and she stood out from everyone.

She really was a light in his life.

And Adrien adored her.
