Chapter 14: Cliffhangers Are Over Used

"You're safe now"

Dean and Sam were the first guys I saw when I woke up "You alright kid?" Dean asked and I nodded slowly "Yeah... What happened?" I asked and Dean chuckled "Michael had you in some sort of choke hold when there as a bright light and well..." He paused "Something saved you." He explained and I nodded "Oh..." I said just as Dean was about to say something, Sam took his phone out of his butt pocket "Jody's got a case for us." He said, and Dean nodded "Well, you're going to go on your first hunt, kid." He said to me and I tilted my head "What's a hunt?" I asked as we started to exit the store, not even paying for anything.

"Basically, a hunt is something Sammy and I do to save the world from monsters." Dean explained poorly and I shrugged.

"Nice, Dean." Sam looked at his brother and then at me. "A hunt is kind of something that Dean and I do to track monsters and kill them. Kind of like what hunters do to deers. But instead of deer, they're evil monsters." He explained and I nodded "I hate hunters." I scowled and Sam chuckled "Yeah, I do too."

As we drove along the road in the car, and I looked out the window. "Can we listen to some music?" I asked Dean as he was driving, he didn't respond to me and as I was going to ask again he reached over and started to play some of his music. Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Guns N Roses came on and after a few seconds I started to sing along, singing as loudly as I could, soon Dean joined in by jamming out on the steering wheel whilst Sam rolled his eyes.

"Hey, there's a diner over there, you want to stop by there and get some food?" Sam put the idea out on the table and my stomach growled "Well, I think Y/n agrees." Dean chuckled and I giggled quietly "food!" I exclaimed and Dean pulled over, leaving tire marks on the ground. Dean sighed and I jumped out of the car, a hop in my step as I arrived at the doors of the diner. Sam opened the door for me since it was way too heavy. We were soon brought to a table by a hostess. She put menus infront of us and walked away "Oh! I want the pig in a poke!" Dean and I said at the same time.

"Look, kid, you can't eat that." Dean said, shaking his head as he was ordering the pig in a poke. "Why not?!" I exclaimed, wanting the exact same thing Dean had ordered. "Because it's bad for you." He said "Just get pancakes or something." He said and I giggled with a small smirk.

"Okay~" I said deviously when the waitress came over, almost dropping the bottle of hot sauce when Sam all of a sudden caught it. "Cool!" I exclaimed and Sam chuckled. "Thanks." He said and then looked at the waitress "We're ready to order." He said "I'll just have a coffee and three cheese omelette." He ordered, and the waitress looked at me "I'll get the triple fudge chocolate pancakes with lots of whipped cream, please! Oh! And milk to drink!" I exclaimed and the waitress smiled softly and wrote that down.

Sam chuckled beside me as Dean looked at the waitress after rolling his eyes at me "I'll have the pig in the poke." He said and the waitress walked away, chuckling to herself.

"Well, I mean, she did order pancakes." Sam said after a few minutes of silence. Dean yet again rolled his eyes

"So get this, Jody said that there were reports of people who go missing and turn up dead in a town nearby. Sounds normal but get this, the victims report receiving a call from their loved ones before they die." Sam explained and I frowned

"Ghost?" Dean asked as Sam pulled out his computer "Seems like it." He said just when the food arrived.

I like the use of gifs. Also, I am gonna apologise yet again for the previous version of this chapter, it was total crap and rushed. This time, I took my time and went through it, like I should have before. Sorry guys.
