Damn, I am long overdue for an update. I'm so sorry; Life is a pain in the tail. I'll try to get chapters out quicker. One chapter every two weeks is my goal, but I'll try to do more. Sorry! Also thank you so much for almost 800 views! That's insane!

Your POV-
Sweat was already starting to drip down your face as you proceeded into Hotland with Flowey by your side. You hoped that he wouldn't get hurt or dehydrated by being in the harsh heat.

"Alphys deactivated all of the puzzles in Hotland so that the monsters could get to the surface without to much trouble. Too bad she couldn't hack into the puzzles back there." Flowey murmured, gesturing to the hallway you had come down. You snorted. At least this journey would be easy.

The two of you walked out into an area with a few different ways to go from there. Flowey let you observe it for a moment before tilting his head towards the hall straight ahead. You followed him forwards, trying to ignore the stifling heat. You gazed around at the scenery while walking, in awe.

You were so preoccupied with examining the rooms that you almost bumped into Flowey. "Watch out." He said, a little more quiet than usual. You were surprised by how calm his reaction was. "Anyways," he continued, "this is Alphys's lab." He pointed towards a large white structure. "There's gonna be air conditioning, so we can get a chance to cool off and have some food." He murmured.

"Air conditioning?" Your interest was peaked.

Flowey chuckled. "Yeah. And wifi. So you can go on the Internet or whatever kids do these days."

You snorted at his comment. "Wifi is a blessing." You added jokingly, and Flowey smiled. You met his gaze and noticed that his eyes were duller. He looked tired and almost sad. "Are you okay?" You asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Why?" He replied, still wearing that same tired smile.

"You look a little forlorn... you look tired." You answered, leaning down to his height to stroke his golden petals. They felt dry and crispy due to the heat. Flowey took a second to respond.

When he spoke his voice was quiet. "I'm fine." He murmured, blinking. "Let's just go. I'll die of heatstroke if we don't get inside that damn lab."

"Can flowers get heatstroke?" You asked stupidly. Flowey simply shrugged and uprooted himself from the ground. He waddled over to the door and you followed him. You reached for the doorknob and turned it, slightly surprise when it opened.

You heard him from behind you, "Alphys left everything unlocked before she left so I could get to it." Flowey explained. You nodded and entered the lab. The lights were off, and you had to feel around for a switch. Your fingers skimmed across it and you turned it on, and the lights flickered a little before coming on completely.

"Let there be light!" You sang. Flowey giggled.

"Hallelujah!" He exclaimed, throwing his leaf hands into the air in mock joy. You laughed and looked around the lab. It was a bit of a mess to be honest. Crumpled papers were scattered across the floor and boxes were strewn all over the room. You sighed contentedly, closing your eyes as the cool touch of air conditioning caressed your face. You opened your eyes and saw two non-working escalators on each side of the room, and walked over to one. You peeked up the stairs in curiosity, and decided to go up there.

You were greeted by a huge poster of some anime girl. You stifled a giggle. This was a lab, right? You shrugged and explored some more. You came to a little bookshelf stocked with manga. You reached inside of the top shelf and tried to finger out one of the graphic novels that was wedged in there.

"Wait! Don't--don't read that!" You heard Flowey exclaim, and you jumped, unaware that he was present in the room. You turned around to face him. A panicked expression was planted on his face.

"Why? What's wrong with these?" You asked, shrugging.

Flowey's face heated up immediately. "I-it's... there's... uh... there's--there's things. I'm sure you're old enough to know wh-what those things are. R-read it if you want, I-I don't care." He stammered. You looked at the cover of the manga. Sure enough, there was an anime couple sitting in a suggestive position on a bed. Your face flushed.

"I-I didn't know," You said quickly, putting the graphic novel back immediately.

"How could you? I should have w-warned you, or something." Flowey murmured, his face growing even redder. You couldn't help but smile at the adorable expression. You felt your heart flutter a little.

You replied, "It's okay, I...." You were lost for words. "L-lets just end this conversation, okay?"

"With pleasure!" Flowey huffed, looking embarrassed. You couldn't help but smile again. You hoped that the little flower wouldn't notice, but apparently there was no hiding from Flowey. "Why are you smiling like that?" He asked, looking playfully creeped out.

"N-nothing. It's nothing." You said quickly. Flowey didn't reply. You shrugged and walked back down the unmoving escalator, your knees shaking a little. Your heart pounded in your chest. Why the hell do I feel so skittish? You asked yourself. Part of you already knew the answer.

Okay, so it was Flowey. There was no denying the fact that you were growing closer to him than you had thought. This was the first time you were admitting to yourself that you liked him. You felt a strong urge to curl up in a corner and hide your face now that you were telling yourself the truth. Oh, how you would love to do that. You guessed that this was just a phase that would pass. You'd been through hell, and you were probably going crazy.

You let out a shaky breath that you didn't know your were holding and sat down in the chair that was pushed in to a computer desk. You examined the messy table, quickly scanning documents and letters. You shrugged and spun around in the seat until you got dizzy.

"(Y/N)?" You lifted your head up instantly as you heard Flowey's familiar voice. You saw him, and he continued, acknowledged that you noticed him. "Alright, here are my plans to contact Alphys and the others...."

Again, I am so sorry for the lack of updates! I feel guilty XD Anyways so you know how I was talking about being tempted to write lemon? I think I might, but in a separate book all together so people don't feel pressured to read it. It won't be that bad, it's probably just going to be more fluff than lemon. That's pretty much it for updates. Bye!!
