Chapter 17

Emma and Vanessa were by my locker chatting, I approached them with a warm smile plastered on my face I felt kinda cold even that I was wearing my white cozy hoodie and my denim jacket, on a skinny black washed jeans and half boot red converse. They greeted me then I noticed Chloe standing in the end of the hallway with Ivan.

"Guys, seriously what's going on?" I said pointing at Chloe and Ivan with my with my chin .

"Yeah, I'm waiting for her to tell, I don't know." Van replied and Emma nodded agreeing with her.

We are at the lunch break, Jax doesn't seem to be at school today he didn't attend any of the classes we shared, probably he missed school. I grabbed my food and went to sit at our table, Chloe seemed off, she's not speaking or commenting at anything we say, which is odd.

"Chloe?" I asked her, she didn't respond.

"Chloe...from Earth to Chloe can you hear me?" I repeated and Emma waved near her face to catch her attention.

"Umm what?" She replied eventually.

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Yes.." the three of us raised our eyebrows to her, she's obviously lying .

"Well, no.. I don't know." Chloe continued as she raised her hands in defense, she glanced at table near us then looked at the floor.

"If you want to talk about it we are always here." Van said with concern, Chloe nodded slowly.

"It's because of Ivan..I guess." Chloe said quitely we barely heard her. We waited for her to complete.

"I think that I like him. Everything happened quickly but we aren't together. Yesterday after school I saw him with a girl and she was flirting so much, he wasn't reacting though. I just got mad and ruined everything, he looked hurt as well.. I just don't know what are we, you know?" Chloe rubbed her head, messing her hair a little and looked down. We kept silent for a while, when I looked at Ivan's table he wasn't talking with the rest and seemed off just as Chloe. He was staring at her with that hurt look.

"Go fix up things then, he will hear you." Emma is the first to break the silence.

"Yes, I can say he loves you from the look he gives you." Van added and yeah she's right, I might die before someone look at me the way Ivan looks to Chloe, however. Chloe looked up straight at Ivan, her cheeks was burning, he didn't look away, they'd be so cute together.

"What shall I do?" She asked as she looked at us.

"Talk to him, fix up things like Emma said and ask him what are you." I responded. I believe this is the right thing to do, Ivan won't let her down he is a good guy, he slept with most of the girls of our school but at least he isn't a player. Chloe nodded and I ate my beef burger in silence. Cole showed up at the end of the lunch break but he didn't look anywhere near our table and sat with a bunch of girls and guys rather than Stacey. Oh yes the girls told me there was something with Cole.

"Ah, so what is it with Cole, you suppose to tell me today." I stated catching their attention. Chloe seems deeply in thoughts but better, with brighter cheeks as I can see. Van is the one to start.

"Oh yes, yesterday Cole came and asked about you and said that he needs to talk to you..Don't worry we stopped him and when he refused to go away Mason, Ivan and Jayden tought him a lesson he won't forget, Jayden threatened him if he thought of coming near you again he would rather break all his bones." Van seemed excited while saying the last part.

"He is sweet, what do you think?" Chloe added after a while of silence, she is trying to act normal though.

"Who?" Who does she mean, Jax maybe? Shit, I must stop getting him in my thoughts that much.
