8:16 pm

"IM TWO HOURS LATE!"

I rushed through the bathroom and quickly wore my uniform.

"Dammit! I forgot to turn on the alarm yesterday! Sigh... I was crying myself to sleep again. I should really stop that."

I ran to my bike with an empty stomach and headed off to go to work.

The busy streets were starting to fill up with more cars and people. It was still a beautiful sight even if the people were mad busy.

I arrived at the office and Ms. Taki was suddenly waiting for me..?

"Oh Anah! I was waiting for you!" I was confused as I was placing my bike.

I saw a lunch box on her hand and I still didn't have a clue on what's going on.

"A random guy asked if you were here. But all of a sudden you were late! So he told me to give you this lunch. He said it was for you."

I was silent and silently took the lunchbox and looked at her. Still confused.

"Anyways, I'm off to work. Oh! By the way, the guy looked like he was really looking for you. Too bad he left soon. Ja nee!"

I looked at Ms. Taki as she was walking away. I was just speechless about what just happened.

I had no idea who it was who brought this warm lunch to me. All I know is one person though. J. "Agh! I should stop thinking! I'm late for work!!!" I started my work and toured the beautiful places in japan.

When the clock striked 12, it was time for my break. I almost forgot about the lunch because of my busyness. Though, I was still curious of who made this lunch.

When I opened the cloth and grabbed the container, there was a written note below it.

Don't overwork yourself. Take a break -J

"I knew it was this person again... J... Joe? Lol! I guess I'll call you Joe from now. Until you show yourself of course."

I opened the container to see a meal I've always longed for. The aroma and the heat was still in there, and it felt like it smelled like I was home again.

"It... It looks like my mom's curry..." I cried to myself, its been a long time I've tasted something home cooked.

"Thank you Joe!!! For this delicious meal! I owe you a lot!" I cried out loud. Without hesitating, i started to eat the delicious home cooked curry that Joe cooked for me.

On that day further, I felt less alone. I collected Joe's notes inside a jar. Every morning, he would give the lunch to Ms. Taki before I even arrived.

No matter how early I went to work. Even if Ms. Taki wasn't there, he would leave the lunch to my other coworkers. And if I start to lose or forget something, it would just be always at my cab.

There was this one time where I forgot the keys outside my house and probably many minutes later, it would be there inside my cab.

I told my family about it. They were surprised the most of them. But some others doubted it. I don't know if it was still Joe. It could be a different person.

But the feeling that someone is atleast helping me, it made me really happy everyday. And the fact that I don't know who it is is really making me think about it every night.

"Sigh. Its been days and this person still won't stop helping me. You can rest too, you know..."

It was really getting dark and I was exhasuted and tired too.

It felt like I couldn't give in more energy. While I was driving, I felt really sleepy and my eyes were opening and closing.

I tried to fight it but it was no use, I couldn't control myself nor the breaks.

I crashed into a car that happened to be the president's of my company. He got out and I was there alive and shocked.

"What the hell do you think you were doing woman?!" I didn't know where I would start. Everything is just starting to blur.

"I-I'm really... sorry..." the old man couldn't stop yelling at me.

"You work at my company how dare you do this to me! You're fired!!!" I was in shock. I was scared. Did he mean what he said?

"I-I'm fired?!" I shouted.

"YES! I shall know this to the company and I will not let you be hired any of our branches!!!" The disrespectful president kept shouting.

Suddenly, I was dizzy and I couldn't hold my balance. I couldn't focus on anything but the pretty lights of shibuya that shined before me, then I fell to the ground.

I felt hands and arms carrying me. A man shouting at a man, I didn't want to focus on anything, but gladly my body was at my highest point and I literally had no choice but to rest.
