Part 7 - Will you go out with me?

I woke up to another day.

My surroundings feels calm.

There was no noise and the place is peaceful.

Except for my mind. I remember a "fight" with George yesterday.

I'm still hoping that he would still say good morning right infront of my door, bringing me breakfast. I didn't mean to hurt him in any way, I was just tired.

I'm sorry, George.

I stood up.

still in my pj's. I was too afraid what to say or act incase George is right there infront of the house.

Should I act like I moved on?

Or still bitter..?

Sigh, here goes.

I opened the door and stood there. The wind started to blow on my warm body. And there was no one I could feel or hear.

He isn't there.

"What have I done..." i said to myself sighing.

I took a step forward then I felt my foot bumped into some kind of container. I kneeled down and held it.

It was a lunchbox that is still warm. I thought he really ran away. But I guess he just can't face me right now.

I smiled and opened the container to see what it contained. The aura flowed all around my nose.

It was curry.

And it smelled exactly what Joji gave me.

"What..? This smell... This is joji's cooking... could it be?" I tasted the curry and it was no joke that it was Joji's cooking.

But wait, is George and Joji the same person? Their name starts with different letters though...

I shook my head to get rid of those thoughts. All I need right now is curry.

I headed to my small garden and started eating there. After I ate a little, I decided to take a short nap while listening songs from my radio.

//few hours later//

I woke up when I heard a sudden knock on my front door. I headed towards it and I knew who it already was.

"Ann, you there?" George called while he was knocking. I unlocked the doorknob and opened it.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Oh, I stopped by to give you this." I was curious as to what it was that hes giving me. Im hoping... food? Lolol again tho?

"Here, hold it." I held what felt like a stem. When I start to hold the top of it, It was petals. But what flower is it?

"It's a sunflower." George said. Somehow, my face starts to heat up.

"O-oh... I actually like sunflowers haha." Something is bothering me, I don't know what it is. But It's a good feeling.

"Really? That's great." He said. If only I could see his face, then maybe I could really tell if he's smiling at me or something!

"Your face is red." He said without a doubt.

"W-what? Oh! It really is getting hot in here haha!" I lied.

Ann, what are you thinking? Don't tell me... You're starting to develop something from him!

"You're cheating!" I shouted.

"What?" He asked really surprised.

"Just 'cause I can't see clearly doesn't mean you don't have to point things out." I said with my hands crossed.

"Well, sorry. Couldn't help it." He giggled. Suddenly, there was this awkward silence...

"So uh..." He said anxiously.. I didn't say a word and waited for his next line.

"Will you go out with me?"

He said with his very native japanese voice.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I cussed in japanese as well. I covered my mouth since I don't really cuss that much. "OH I MEAN UH... w-wHAT?? nani??" I start to pull my colar since I've been sweating because of anxiety and god knows what. "U-uh.. umm.. I.. I-I.. wait are you serious..?" I asked laughing it off.

"I'm serious." He said with his deep and calming voice.

"Argh stop speaking in Japanese!!! You're making me nervous! Sigh... wait is going out with you and date the same thing??? Is the word 'going out' means forever? What..? Sorry I suck at this haha... WE JUST HAD A FIGHT YESTERDAY!"

This guy seriously, he isn't saying anything unless I say yes or no.

I thought about it.

"Sure why no-"

"REALLY?" he shouted while holding my arms. I was a bit shocked there. 

"U-uh ye-"

"YES!" he shouted really loud. Jesus christ what is wrong with this guy? What's with him today?

"George hold the phone! What the hell is wrong with you today?" I asked him with a worried face.

"I don't know but It's great." He said laughing. I felt him leaning on me closer and closer. I'm not sure what he's gonna do next though...

"I'll wait for you. 6 am. Tomorrow. Okay?" He whispered at me with his gentle voice.

"Oh.. okay..." Finally, he left off and I could hear his footsteps slowly fading away. I closed the door while still holding the sunflower.

I took a deep sigh and I went to my garden.

"What the hell just happened?"
