I was glad I bought a clock that has different animals every hour. It would make an animal noise depending on what time it is.

I don't know what made me buy that kind of clock, but it sure is helpful now that I'm blind. I still remember what noise it would make at 6 o' clock, a pig I'm hoping.

I woke up, probably at 4 or 5 in the morning. There was a little of sun poking out the sky and it felt really cold outside.

I couldn't really sleep well last night. I keep thinking and thinking about what George said.

"Will you go out with me?"

I covered my face with a pillow while smiling over a phrase that I'd say over and over again. I couldn't help but think about his voice, what his reaction would've been...

Oh George, you kept me up all night

Out of excitement, I stood up from my bed and decided I'd get ready for my date. I

took a bath, wore my favourite outfit as I figure out the silk and texture, I wore my socks that I wish they weren't different, and my shoes.

I didn't do that much makeup 'cause obviously, I might ruin the lipstick part but yeah.

Lacking one sense isn't really that hard for me throughout my chores and routines since I do see colors and lights but very blurry.

The only obstacle that I'm having a hard time with is people. They're really hard to deal with.

I finally heard the pig alarm and I knew that it was exactly 6:00 am.

"Here goes nothing..." I said to myself as I reach to the front door. Suddenly, I hear a man's voice.

"Hello? It's your local newspaper boy." He said while he was knocking. I giggled at his phrase.

"Silly! newspaper boys don't knock, they throw newspapers at doors." I turned the doorknob and opened the front door, feeling really embarrassed since I don't know how or what I look like.

There was a long silence between George and I and it was getting really awkward.

"You're staring at me aren't you..? Hahaha... I know, I don't really look good." I gave out a nervous smile, but George insisted.

"Nah, you really look simple but... cute." I didn't hear clearly what that last word was, but I gave him a thank you.

"Here, take my hand." He gently said. I grabbed his big and warm hand I slowly took a step forward.

"Where are you taking me ocean man?" I asked him as I carelessly hold hands with George. I wasn't really paying attention.

"I'll take you in a far away land."

"Just kidding, you're gonna love this anyway." He said as we walked together, just the two of us.

"Oh yeah we're going on a picnic by the way, I bought food."  I smiled,

"Awww, didn't know you were this cute." And laughed.

I didn't know why.
