I felt like this chapter deserved two quotes
"The only reason you won't let go of the person in your life that makes you miserable is because at one time or another, they made you smile..."
"You still mean the world to me, but if your gonna let me leave, I'll walk out the door."
________
I starred at the box, but before I, or anyone could stop me, I was out the door dumping the contents on the box into the garbage can. I held one in my hand gently, observing it, before sliding it in my pocket walking back into the house. I sat at the table starring off into space.
What will he think when he knows I found it?
Will he be upset with me?
What is he going to do when he knows I've thrown them away?
Silly thoughts clouded my mind, ones that didn't matter... The only thing that did was his happiness. That black box sat in front of me, empty, what am I going to do? I looked around as my gaze fell on a notepad, opened to a clean page, and a black pen laying over top of it. I pulled it in front of me starring at the lines covering the page. My imagination drifted off as a beautiful butterfly appeared. It was perfect, but not enough to make me smile, I wanted to cry, and have Ashton comfort me. Except he's causing the pain, and he's the one in pain.
I know it's hard, and I know it won't be easy... But do it for me? I love you so much, don't forget it.~ H
My handwriting flooded the extra space as I opened the box, folding the paper and placing it inside, closing the box again. Suddenly I felt really tired, I guess jet lag has hit me, hard. The boys won't be back for a few hours... I thought dragging myself over to the couch laying down and falling asleep immediately.

"Can you guys go upstairs? I want to talk to Hannah..." I hear Ashton say. Footsteps hitting against the stairs, it got quieter until it was gone completly. Suddenly a hand was placed over my shoulder and I sat up rubbing my eyes facing Ashton. Wait... Ashton. Oh, my, god. The box. I could tell Ashton was mad already so I turned away, I looked out the window and it was already dark, maybe they were out late?
"Why would you go through my things Hannah!" He says already nearly raising his voice.
"Ashton, I'm just scared." I say softly
"Don't be! I'm fine! I'll figure it out myself!" He says hostilely
"I just want to help you, can't you accept that? I care!" I say raising my voice getting aggravated. Isn't this a good way to wake up? *note the sarcasm*
"Well don't touch my stuff, and stay out of it. None of this is your business." He says standing up and walking away.
"No, Ashton. We need to talk" I say standing up and grabbing his shoulder and he turns around.
"Why are you so damn clingy" he mumbles, but heard...
"What did you say?" I ask crossing my arms
"Quit being so damn clingy Hannah! Leave me alone!" He says loudly
"I will not leave you Ash, just calm down" I say seeing how angry he was getting over this.
"I don't need you." He says
"Fine Ashton, just go cheat on me again." It slipped through my mouth without a second thought.
"You know she didn't mean anything to me!" He says slightly yelling
"Then why did you do it?!" I say equally as loud to him.
"Your such a bitch!" He says, my face falls. He's never said anything like then to me before, and it hurt.
"I wouldn't have to be if you weren't such a selfish asshole!" I say, suddenly I'm knocked to the ground with a pain in my cheek. I looked up meeting the eyes of Ashton, who was just as terrified as I was...
