Hope Mills was just four when her parents died. She remembered them, remembered how perfect they were, but now that they were gone, the only thing that she thought kept her close to her family was singing. Her mother was an amazing singer, and her father was a music teacher. Hope knew that no matter how old she got, how many homes she went through, if she kept her chin up and sang about it, she'd be all right until she aged out of the system. Then in 2011, Once Upon A Time aired its very first episode. She watched it and it gave her real hope, not just that she'd age out, but she'd find people who loved her like her parents did. She was stuck in a particularly bad foster home when she DMed Jennifer Morrison, just to let her know how much the cast had helped her throughout her life, and earned a response that would change her life.
