-I would make them middle class.

-Where does all the money come from? Obviously their parents. And let me guess, they are CEO's of a multimillionaire business company and that's why they can afford everything? Like I always say twist it up. Give their parents an exciting job, who wants to have a boring one?

-Personally I don't like it when the characters brag about what they have. So it's a no go for me.

-You have to work for your money. They usually have jobs (the kids), but why do they always waiter at some coffee shop? Again, give them a more adventurous job. Please.

-And if they are in a lower class, the mom is usually a single mom who is always a nurse and works night shifts. I don't know about your country, but mine nurses get really good pay. So I suggest you then give her a job where they don't get paid much.
