Pet names and also nicknames.
It's overused.
To say the truth, you don't have to have a nickname for every character in your book.
Here is some that I find in almost every book:
Angel
Babe
Baby/babydoll
Cookie
Cupcake
Gem
Honey
Literally any food name
Jewel
Kitten
Sugar
Sunshine
Sweetheart/cheeks
It should be more unique when you give them their special name.
