Chapter two: meeting up with an old friend and getting a job

(Two weeks later)
(Nicole P.O.V.)
It's been two weeks since I had moved here and I've been really busy with the slaying there's definitely an infection with vampires and demons around. But on the bright side last night I had ran into an old friend of mine and Buffy's Harleen Quinzel. We've had known her since pk back in LA it's so great to see her again I've missed her so much. So today we are going to meet up at Starbucks before her shift at some type of an Asylum or something like that.
(Later that day)
I finally made it to Starbucks were I see that Harleen is already there. Harleen hey how are you it's so good to see you. I said as we hug each other. Yeah it's good to see you too Nikki. She said as we pull away and sit down then we start to talk let me tell you we had both been though a lot over the years. Like she's now working at a place called Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist and that she has a boyfriend named Kyle he is a reporter here in Gotham. Hay Harley I'm looking for a job you don't happen to know were there's a job opening or anyone that's hiring do you? I asked. Well as a matter of fact I do. She said. Really were? I asked. With me well you see I've been getting over booked with patients lately and I could use the help like if I'm not there or I have two patients at the same time or something like that then you can help out with that or you could fill in for me. So what do you think? She asked. Well I guess I mean I don't really have the experience in that department but I can give a try. I said. great then maybe you can start ether today or tomorrow witch ever is good for you. She said. tomorrow is fine with me I have go shopping anyways. I said. Great so I'll see you tomorrow? She asked. See you tomorrow. I confirmed well as great it was seeing you and to catch up with you but I have to go back to work so I'll see later maybe tonight? She asked sure I'll see you later then. I said as I hug her goodbye she hugged me back then we both went our separate ways she went back to her work and I went to the mall.
(Later that night after the shopping)
I had just got done getting into my pj and making popcorn 🍿 to watch a movie with when the door bell rings. Here's what I'm wearing:

I opened the door to let Harley in. Hey come on in I said she did we then went to the living room to watch the movie. We decided to watch a pirate of the Caribbean marathon. Then go to bed after words.
