It's the morning and my dad insists on driving me to school. I roll my eyes as we pull into the parking lot "Why did you have to drive me again?" I sigh "Sorry for wanting to see my daughter. You're always doing something with Ashley. I wanted to spend time with you, I swear only today and I'll let you walk to school with your friends in peace" Dad tells me "Ok, fine. I get it, you want to spend time with me, but please not when I'm at school, I don't want to be the laughingstock of this whole campus" I say and my dad laughs "Oh come on Ellie it's not that bad. I'll see you after school. Call me when you get home" "Ok I will love you Dad" I hug him "Love you too El" he hugs me back and I get out of the car and walk into school
Time skip..........
I walk into school and see Ashley and Tyler waiting at my locker and talking "Hey guys what's up?" I ask "Well, we're having a disagreement" Tyler states "Oh no this can't be good" I mumble "We're going to the football game!" Tyler tells me as I shake my head while Ashley nods "Fuck that! We're going to the mosh pit!" She says "Why not football game? It's perfect for a Friday night!" He says "Well maybe because this school is already obsessed with football! And I don't want to go to a place after hours where I gotta be every day" Ashley tells me "Well, let's let Ellie decide" Tyler says as they face me "Oh shit" I mumble "What do ya think El?" He asks as I open my locker to put my books inside and then slam it "Ty, as much as I would like to go and watch guys sweat as they run around a field tackling each other, I think Ash's right I mean our school is already football obsessed. And a mosh pit does sound pretty dope" I tell him "But babe...." He whines "I'm sorry Tyler but I'm gonna go with Ashley. You can go with us if you want" "It's fine, I'll just sit home. Watching TV" He shrugs "Ok... Well I'm sorry" I say "I gotta get to class, just tell me how it goes ok?" He walks away and I sigh and look at Ashley "I feel bad" "Why? Do you want to go to a football game?" Ashley asks "No. But I do wanna spend time with Tyler" I smile as I bite my lip "Ellie stop thinking about him" She rolls her eyes "I'm not thinking about him" I deny "You just bit your lip" "Good point"
We walk to our English class "But seriously El, WHHS is already way to obsessed with football. I think a mosh pit with possible drunk dudes will be better than thousands of screaming high school kids" Ashley tells me I roll my eyes "I guess you're right. I wanna go with you but I don't think my dad will let me" I say "Now you're like a 12 year old" Ashley rolls her eyes "Sneak out. And if that doesn't work just sleep over my place. My parents will let me go" I sigh "I'm not sneaking out. I've done that many times before and I'm not getting grounded again" I tell her as we walk into English class "You sure your parents will let you go?" "They know what it's like to be teenagers. They'll let us go" Ashley says "Ash... That sentence didn't make any sense whatsoever but ok" I tell her as class begins
Time skip...........
Tyler, Ashley and I meet up after school and start walking home "So you guys are going to the mosh pit?" Tyler asks "Yup. Ya going to the football game?" I ask "Yup. Just be safe guys ok?" "We will. And we appreciate that you care about us" I smile "Fuck yeah of course I do! You're my girlfriend and my best friend" Tyler kisses and Ashley groans "Not all that 'young lovers' bullshit in front of me please. Not until I date someone" I laugh "Ok weirdo" As we all run to Ashley's house
Time skip.........
"Hey Chris!" I see Ashley's dad in the living room "Hey Dad!" Ashley adds "Hey Mr Frangipane!" Tyler finishes "We gotta question.." "No you can't have sex with my second daughter" "What? I wasn't... Never mind. The girls wanna go to the mosh pit" Tyler says "Mosh pit?" Nicole comes into the room "Can we go Mom?" Ashley asks "Sure why not? Just be home by 10" Nicole says "We got a curfew?" I ask "Well... I know you do Ellie. And I guess you're sleeping over so ya both do. I don't care if tomorrow's Saturday, I want to make sure you 2 are safe." "Oh thanks, and yeah I'm sleeping over" I smile "I'll get going" Tyler says as he hugs us "See ya tomorrow El, Ash" "See ya tomorrow Ty" we say in unison as he leaves and we leave to go to the mosh pit
Time skip........
"I can't believe your dad let you borrow his car" Ashley says I laugh "Well I called him, told him where we were going and that your parents approved. He said he was cool with letting me borrow the car as long as I don't do anything to fuck it up" I say "Nice. Let's go?" Ashley says "You bet" I smile as we go to the mosh pit
Time skip......
We get back home at 10 "Well I'm tired" Ashley says as I laugh "Same" as we get in Ashley's house and go upstairs and fall asleep
