Tyler and I are quietly walking into Ashley's room to surprise her "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" We yell when she wakes up "Thanks guys" she smiles as she gets up and hugs us "No problem bestie" I say "You're finally 18! How's it feel?" Tyler asks as Ashley laughs "Same as 17" "Cool" I say "Hey wanna get breakfast on campus or what?" Tyler asks walking into the kitchen "We have food here" I tell him motioning to the kitchen where there is food everywhere in the cabinets "I can see that El" he tells me "Ya sure? Cause I don't think you know that Ash and I went food shopping after we finished unpacking" I tell him sarcastically "Haha" he mocks "You guys are so cute but immature you know that right?" Ashley asks us getting some cereal from the cabinet "Well thanks Ash" Tyler tells her "Hey, I'm just telling it how I see it" Tyler rolls his eyes and I walk into the living room with my breakfast and turn on the TV "Hey guys the new season of AHS is out wanna watch it?" I ask Ty and Ash "You already know what I'm gonna say: hell yes" Tyler says running to the couch and practically jumping on it "Woah there cowboy" I joke Ashley starts randomly singing 'John Wayne' I hit her with a pillow "Hey don't hit me it's my birthday" she whines as I roll my eyes and hear my phone ring I answer it and put it on speaker
"Happy birthday Ash!" I hear Nicole yell "Thanks Mom!" Ash yells back
"How are you guys holding up in NY?" Dad asks
"Good we started work" I tell him
"And how's that?"
"Good, Joe keeps on cracking unexpected Dad jokes every now and then but it's fine" Tyler tells him
We hear Dad and Ashley's parents laugh
"Well I'm glad you guys are having a great time at work... how's school?"
"It's good, acing the game" Ashley tells them
"That's good to hear We'll check in sometime next week ok? Have a good day guys love you" Chris tells us
"Love you guys too" we say before hanging up and sitting on the couch to watch the new season of AHS
