I wake up the next morning as I walk to the living room to see Ashley "Morning" she says I laugh "Still half asleep?" I ask she nods "Where's Ty?" She asks "Still sleeping like a baby" I smirk "You two have sex yet?" She asks "We're waiting for the right time" I say as I get my phone "Besides my dad is all still "overprotective" of that shit" I tell her as my phone rings "Speaking of" I tell her as she rolls her eyes as I answer the call
"Hey Dad" I say
"Hey El, just wanted to check in" he states
"Mr H, are you gonna do this everyday?" Ashley asks
"Pretty much yeah"
I roll my eyes as Tyler walks out of the bedroom "Morning babe" he says as he kisses me
"Is that Tyler? Can I talk to him?" Dad asks
"Mr H, if you're gonna ask about my intentions towards your daughter, I already told you. And for your question on the condoms-" "Ok we gotta go!" I yell "Bye Dad!" I say "Mr Hart!" Ashley yells
"Bye Ash, bye El, bye Tyler"
I quickly hang up
"Why'd you have to bring up-" I start as I look at him "Condoms?" Ashley finishes and I motion to her "Exactly!" Tyler shrugs "Your Dad wanted to know" "That doesn't exactly mean you tell him" I tell him "Well I didn't want him to think I'm fucking his daughter without protection" He says "He's got a point" Ashley states as I roll my eyes and walk to the other room to get ready
Time skip..........
I walk back out to the living room to see Ashley and Tyler sitting on the couch "Want do you guys wanna do today?" I ask "I don't know" Tyler mumbles
"Can we go to Coney Island?" Ashley asks "That's far.... we'll have to take the subway" Tyler points out "Ok we'll go somewhere else. Roberta's Pizza?" I ask "Isn't that place fucking expensive?" I ask "Not as expensive as the Joanne Trattoria in downtown Manhattan" I point out "But don't worry we'll go there one time... oh maybe for dinner?" I ask "So we're basically gonna have pizza for lunch and Italian food for dinner? Isn't that a bit too much carbs?" Ashley asks I roll my eyes "Ash, we're young. We don't have to worry about that shit until we're at least 30" I tell her as Tyler bursts out laughing "Come on dumbass lets go" I say as we take the car to Manhattan
Time skip...........
"I thought we were going to Roberto's?" Ashley pouts as we're at the entrance of Joanne Trattoria "We'll go there tomorrow. If we go here that way we get to have an earlier dinner. Then sight see or whatever the rest of the night" I tell her "Ohhhh good idea" she says as we enter the restaurant
"Reservations?" The older man behind the counter asks "Uhhh" Tyler mumbles as he turns back towards us "Shit we forgot the reservations" he says as the man laughs "Relax kid. It's on the house" He says as he leads us to our table "You three clearly haven't been here before huh?" He asks "Is it that obvious?" I laugh "Hang on one minute my wife will be with you shortly" he says as he walks away and a minute later a lady comes up to us "Hi, I'm Cynthia and I'll be your hostess this evening" She says "Hi I'm Ellie, this is Ashley and that's Tyler" I say "Nice to meet you kids. You're on summer break?" She asks as Tyler nods "We just finished our senior year of high school" he states "Oh that's wonderful. I remember when my daughters graduated high school. It was a wonderful time for Joe and I" She says as I nod "We're from New Jersey. We came down to Brooklyn for the summer" Ashley tells her "Ohh that's amazing" Cynthia says as I nod
Time skip..........
We finish our meal and we walk up to the counter "Thank you guys so much for the food. It was incredible" I state "Oh you're welcome sweetheart" Joe tells me and I smile "So you own this restaurant?" Ashley asks "That's impressive" "Thank you" Cynthia says "So are you 3 looking at any colleges while you're down here?" Joe asks us "I'm gonna look at a few programs for NYU" I tell him "Oh that's wonderful, you know Stefani, our oldest daughter went to NYU" He states I nod "That's so cool. What did she major in?" I ask "She majored in songwriting and theater arts I believe. She's always had a talent and love for music since she was a very little girl" Cynthia laughs "That's so dope" I state as they look at me "Dope like that's so cool not Dope like the drug by the way" I say as they laugh "Ok good. We were worried for a second" I laugh "Well you don't need to be" "Thank you so much again for the food Mr and Mrs-" Tyler says "Germanotta. But please do call us Cynthia and Joe" Joe says "Germanotta.... that sounds familiar" Ashley says as they smile "It should be, our daughter is famous. But we don't really let people know that" Cynthia tells us "Your daughter is Gaga?" Tyler asks as we all look at him "What? I have a 15 year old sister who listens to her all the time" He says "That is so cool though, we get it why you would want to stay out of the spotlight, paparazzi could be tough" I say "and creepy" Ashley adds "I mean they take pictures out of nowhere!" As I laugh "True" "Well it was nice meeting you two, but we better get going" I say "Of course" Joe tells us as he opens the door "You guys should definitely come again we'd enjoy your company" I nod "We will" Ashley smiles as we head to the car and start heading home
