Ashley, Tyler and I are heading home after our month in Brooklyn
We pull up to the house and see Ashley's parents, Tyler's mom and my dad
We get out of the car "Hey!" Ashley exclaims as we run toward them "Hey! We missed you" Chris says hugging each one of us "We missed you too Chris" I say as Dad walks up to me "Hey" he says hugging me "I missed you sweetie" I smile as Tyler walks up behind me with his mom "Hey Tyler. Missed you kiddo" Dad tells him "You're not mad at me Mr H?" He asks "Oh I still am" Dad tells him "Ok uh hate to break this reunion up, but we have to go back to NY tomorrow and get our apartment ready for the year" Ashley tells us "Shit.... uh" I think "You guys aren't getting dorms?" Nicole asks I shake my head "A dorm is expensive, plus out of state tuition. And we figured since we didn't do well with the apartment we were renting in the summer,that we might as well just live off campus" I explain "Cool" Mindy, Ty's mom says "I can't believe our girls are going to college" Dad says "Oh my god Dad don't get emotional on us" I groan "It's just... you're so grown up" I roll my eyes as we go into the house
Time skip...........
"So you 3 gonna pay for the tuition?" Mindy asks "Aren't you gonna help us though Mom?" Tyler asks "We all are. But you 3 are gonna put in the effort. And you have to get jobs" Nicole tells us "Nicole... where the hell will I get a job?" I ask "Oh my god" I say "I'll be right back" I say
I walk into the living room and call Cynthia
"Hi Cynthia it's Ellie, I need a favor" I tell her
"Hey how are you? What is it?" She asks
"Well, Ty, Ash and I are moving to NY tomorrow and we need a job. Is there any chance you and Joe will be willing to hire us?" I ask
"I'm sure we can make an arrangement"
I smile "Thanks Cynthia tell Joe, Stef and Nat we said hi. We'll meet you at Joanne's tomorrow" I say
"No problem I will, bye Ellie"
I hang up and walk back into the living room "I think I just solved our job problem" I smirk looking at Ashley and Tyler "Holy shit really? They're willing to hire us with no experience?" Tyler asks "When you put it like that it sounds bad but yeah" I say "Wait who are you talking about?" Dad asks "Cynthia and Joe Germanotta. They own the Joanne Trattoria in downtown Manhattan, we kinda befriended them and their daughters, they offered us a job over there"  "Oh cool" Chris states "Yeah" Ashley says "We're gonna go pack for tomorrow ok?" I ask Dad as we head upstairs "Hey babe imma head home to pack I'll see ya guys tomorrow ok?" Tyler asks us as Ash and I nod "See ya Ty" we say in unison as he and his mom leave and Ash and I run upstairs to pack
