"Ok." Finnick said, sitting me on the bed. "As you can see, these are cards." He said in a 'smart' capital accent.

I rolled my eyes.

"There are 10 cards. Each card-."

"Each card has a question. I get it. 'Answer The questions 100% truthfully and scare the tributes.'"

Finnick stood there, stunned.
"That's almost exactly what I was gonna say. Well, let's ask away.
*clears throat*.
Ok, Ms. Westbay, wh-."n

"Don't call me that."

"Okay...Brooklynn. What is your goal in this 68th Annual Hunger Games?"

I looked at him in disbelief.
"To win, duhhh."

"And have you found an ally?"

"My District partner. I don't know the others. So..."

Finnick stopped.
"Ok, in reality. Are you actual considering allies?"

I shook my head and he nodded.

"Do you want to win?"

I stifled a laugh at his accent.
"What kind of question is that? Anybody with a brain would want to win."

He chuckled. "Good answer.
And why do you want to win?"

"For my mom and brother Clayton." I said as normally as possible.

"Anyway one else?"
He looked at me and I knew what he was doing.

"And my mentor, a former Victor, Finnick."

He smiled. "Mmhmm."

-5 questions later-

"And last question. Is there anyone special for a beautiful girl like you back at home?"

I could feel my face heat up.

"Uh. N-no, not really. Not at home."

Finnick put the card down.
"Anyone away from home?"

"Nope." I said, trying to hide the pink flushing my cheeks.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yep." I smiled. "100% are."

He sighed.
"Alright, well, that's all the questions."

We sat there a little longer in silence.

"Okay. We really need to train. We're behind. And if you wanna get a good score on the Training, we better go."

"Ok. Let's go." I jumped up, grabbing his hand and leading him to the Training Center.

•Finnick's POV•
"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yep. 100% sure." She said.

"Alright, well, that's all the questions." I sighed.

We sat there a little longer in silence.

"Okay. We really need to train. We're behind. And if you wanna get a good score on the Training, we better go."

"Ok. Let's go." She hopped up, grabbing my hand and taking me to the Training Center.

Alright! This is a start! I laughed to myself.
