"Please stop. Let me go. No! No! STOP IT!!!" He injected her with the needle. Her screams intensified and she thrashed harder. "HELP! MUMMA!" Then she stopped thrashing. Big fat tears were rolling down her chubby face, and her lip trembled. "Please leave me alone....I won't tell nobody..just please stop." The man gave a small smile.
"I can't let you go. No. After everything that your parents put me through..." His grin was wide. "You've lasted so much longer than the others. Why would I let you go now?"
The man laughed and walked outside of the room where other scientists were standing. They watched the little girl through the one-way mirror.
"What are the effects of the serum?" one of them asked.
"We are hoping that by next week she will have developed some enhanced abilities."
"And if not?"
"Then that means she is dead." With that note, Strucker turned on his heel and left.
