I walked off to go change. Steve had given us three minutes and I truly believed him. Wanda and Pietro trailed after me as we got into the elevator.

It was silent on the way down. I was going down to my floor, but the twins were most likely going to the storage room.

The elevator stopped on my floor, and the doors opened. I stepped out, but Pietro grabbed my wrist and stopped me. "You're still gonna owe me that coffee date." I nodded.

He let go and the doors to the elevator closed. I walked to my room, and went inside. It was clean, the bed was a little rumpled though.

I furrowed my brows as I thought back to a few days ago when Nat and Pepper took me shopping. It was only a few days ago, but it sure was a hell of a lot brighter than this crap fest I was stuck in right now.

I went into my closet, and looked at what to wear, that was appropriate for battle. Then I thought, Screw it. If I'm gonna die, might as well look fabulous. Always look fabulous when facing your enemies.

I grabbed some clothes and put them on. I was wearing a black waistcoat over a white button up. I had black leggings and and I put a black trench coat on that billowed out longer in the back. I straightened my plaid bow tie, put some finger less leather gloves over my hands, and took a deep breath.

I needed some weapons. A load of good teleportation and illusion tricks would do on robots. Then I saw it as I glanced into my open closet.

A top hat. Simple black, with a couple of knick knacks like clock gears and a key. There were five shiny knives lying on the top of it, and goggles around the middle.

I walked into my closet. How did I miss this before? I saw that there was a note.

Thought you should have a symbol for your hero image.

-Tony

I smiled. I loved it. I took the knives and put them in my coat pocket. Then I put the top hat on my head. The goggles I strung around my neck, and then I left the room.

I took the elevator all the way to the top, where the quin jet would be. Everyone else was already in there, and when I approached they all stared at my outfit for a moment.

Tony gave a weak smile. "Glad you like it kid."

I stepped into the quinjet and the door closed behind me. "Like it?" I took out one of the knives in my coat pocket. I flipped in my hand. "I love it Tony. Thank you. How'd you know I like knives?"

He glanced at the shiny knives. His face was grim. "I didn't. It was a lucky guess."

I pocketed the knife and sat down next to Clint and Pietro.

It was quite a long flight, but there was something about being on your way to a war. Time was non-existent, and there were only thoughts of what could happen. I was snapped out of my daydream by Steve beginning to talk.

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out."

TIME SPEED UP

Pietro ran into the police station and I appeared next to him.

"We're under attack," he yelled. "Clear the city. Now!"

They didn't listen, and I watched as Pietro sped off and came back with a shotgun. I raised my eyebrows in surprise as he put his finger on the trigger for a few seconds. Shots rang out, and the police jumped to their feet.

"Get off your asses," Pietro told them. I shivered. They sprung into action, and Pietro left the room, I teleported next to him outside.

"I need to help Wanda," I told him.
