Susan"s POV

I jumped with a shocked from my sleep, I was becoming crazy.... literally. Everyday I had he same dream only that it advanced 5 seconds more each day. I never understood the images I saw, they where always blurry and small but I could hear something they said, sometimes they said my name and suddenly screamed.

Could the people in my dreams be real? Did they die because of me? I thought worryingly

"What's happening to me? They're just dreams, they can't possibly be real." I said angrily

I got up and took a warm shower to forget about my stress, then I got ready work (I work as a language translator). Today felt different, I felt happy and energetic and worked better han expected.

" What happened to you dear, did you drink to much Red Bull?" My boss asked me jokingly

"Haha good one!" I said laughing

After work I went to take a run home as usual, on the top I wore a black sport top and on the bottom a tight black short and put on my sportive headphones. While I was running as fast as the wind I sang to the tune of the song 'Feel this moment' until I got to the apartment's elevator, I took of the headphones and hid them in my back pack.

I unlocked the door and headed upstairs when I heard a noise, it sounded as if someone was searching my stuff. I immediately took a kitchen knife and quietly walked towards my room, then I quickly opened the door and saw a 7 feet humanoid trying to unlock the box where I had an alien skull which I was told was very valuable. I pointed threateningly the knife towards it

"Hand over the box!" I seriously said

The creature looked at me in a shock and tried to communicate with me kindly but I stepped back pointing closer the knife to it when I then felt a strange feeling  in my neck. I touched it and grabbed what it was and saw it was a dart, I suddenly started to feel dizzy and fainted until everything became black.
