Lex Moore was no more a super hero than Severus Snape from Harry Potter. No she never tortured or bullied. It was never in her nature. She was more of a quiet girl who liked to read and take walks around the city of New York. Lex also loved to take pictures. And that's what her job was. Take pictures, get paid. Quite easy. That's how he met her. For Lex it was a normal day in the city. Walking up 27th street, her cannon camera in her hand, Lex walked up and down that street capturing different moments that were gone in an instant.
It was a Thursday, a cold and windy one but that wasn't usual for New York in autumn. As the wind blew in the face of 28 year old Lex Moore messing up her shot of pigeons in the street. Shivering and slightly cursing under her breathe, Lex readjusted her wool grey scarf for the eighth time. Debating on whether or not to just go home and call it a day something caught her eye. Walking over to a brick apartment Lex's eyes scanned the wall until she found what she was looking for.
Furrowing her eyebrows, Lex quickly picked her camera back up from her chest. Getting ready for her shot, focusing the camera on the relatively small graffiti. Reading the graffiti through her lens Lex smiled liking the quote. "I am like a shooting star, pretty from afar but up close a hell raiser"
That had to be Lex's favorite part about New York. The graffiti was all so unique and each had a different meaning. As an artist herself she knew what it meant to just want to share her work with the world. Smiling to herself Lex finds herself being pulled out of her own little world when a man comes running shoving her into the ground. In the process of this brutal fall, her camera shatters and her head smacks the pavement.
Gulping Lex grabs her head trying not to cry. Feeling her head she feels a wet sticky substance. Bringing her hand down to her face Lex gasps as the blood on her hand. Starting to feel dizzy Lex decides against her better judgment and stands up. Wobbling and crying Lex looks down at her 2,000 dollar camera shattered in pieces below her feet. Cursing out loud she looks up and spots the man who trampled over her like she was a pin in bowling. Lex stomps over to the man.
"Um excuse me sir but what the fuck is your problem?! Did you not maybe see me standing there!!" Lex spats the strange man. Before the man could reply and Lex could let loose even more an arrow shoots down and hits Lex in the shoulder. Bringing her to the ground she starts to scream at the impact of the pain.
"Gahhh!!!" Now officially crying, the man who ran into her runs away again leaving Lex to cry in her own puddle of blood. As she gets even dizzier she sees another man step into her view. "Oh shit shit shit!" The new man swears. "Guys I need an evac now!! Civilian down!" The strange man says, his hand pressed up to his ear. Placing his bow down he picks up Lex who just cries in pain. Looking up at the mans face she sees its a bit blurry. Feeling tired Lex closes her eyes only to be patted on the cheek.
"Stay with me!!" The voice said to her but Lex couldn't help it and with that everything went black. "Oh fuck." Clint Barton said as the girl in his arms losses consciousness.
