Zoro couldn't help but just blankly stare at the woman that had taken it upon herself to take a seat right beside him at the bar. Just barely bothering to bring himself to pay attention to half of the things she was saying the moment she had suddenly decided to start talking to him. He wasn't dense as he was aware that some women did indeed come to bars for the sole purpose of having a fling with a stranger or to just simply come and flirt with any man willing to buy them a drink. He's been in situations like this one many times before—even long before he had joined the Straw Hats and usually he would just tune the women out until they got bored with him and simply left. But this time, things were a bit different...this time, he wasn't here alone.

No, this time he had thought to bring Skylar along with him so that they could spend some quality time together while he drank. Shortly after they had arrived she had up and disappeared, simply claiming that she needed to use the restroom which in return left her seat open for anyone to just come around and take it. Anyone like this woman for example. Sitting there, he couldn't help but start to wonder just how bad this all was going to go down when the brunette came back only to find this redhead sitting here and flirting with him. He soon flinched at the sudden feeling of fingers gently ghosting over the skin his arm as the woman seemed to now move towards physical touches when she finally noticed that he wasn't really paying attention to her.

"I'm not interested" he bluntly stated, deciding it best to shoot her down now before things got too out of hand. At first, she looked to be taken aback by his sudden rejection before slowly her lips tugged up into a sly smile.

"Oh, come on now—don't be shy, darling" she seductively purred which only caused him to frown as he had expected her to get up with a huff and leave, not at all expecting her to continue to push at him. "Are you saying that a nice, strong and handsome man such as yourself would rather drink alone instead of spending time with someone as beautiful as me?" she innocently batted her eyes up at him, now resting the palm of her hand fully against his arm as she began to lean in closer.

"You know, when you put it like that, it almost makes him sound like some kind of loser or something" both Zoro and the woman flinched at the hand that was suddenly slammed down onto the bar's countertop between them. Such an act causing the redhead to instantly pull back as Skylar now leaned her body down between the two of them so that it acted like some sort of wall. "Except," she began with a strained smile, "he's not here alone, he's here with me and you just so happen to be in my seat."

"Oh?" the woman raised an eyebrow, her eyes flickering up and down with a judgmental gaze as she drunk in the sight of the brunette that now blocked her view of the swordsman. "Is that so? I don't see your name anywhere on it" she said with the tilt of her head as Zoro only smiled in amusement, watching how the corner's of his lover's lips began to twitch a little. He couldn't help but find her jealously adorable nor could he help the way that it made him—strangely enough—happy whenever she'd get like this. It practically flattered him to know that she loved him enough to physically get upset at the thought of another woman potentially stealing him away.

Skylar couldn't help but heave a sigh, staring at the redhead with a deadpanned look when she saw that the woman had no plans on moving or even apologizing for daring to mess with another woman's man.

"I didn't want to do this" she said as she straightened her posture and suddenly rested a gentle hand on the woman's shoulder.

"What are you—" the woman yelped, taken aback by the harsh shove she suddenly received as her body fell from the barstool and she painfully landed on her bottom. "W-what the hell was t-that for?!" she sputtered out in anger.

"Like I said, you were in my seat" Skylar calmly responded as she took a seat, spinning around in the barstool to look down at the woman as she crossed one leg over the other and rested her face against the palm of her hand.

"So?!" the woman snapped, her cheeks flaring up in embarrassment as she could already hear the quiet snickers that were drawn out of the other patrons who's attention had been drawn towards the commotion. Some of them already quietly whispering to themselves as they eagerly watched and waited for a potential fight to break out. "You didn't have to be so rude about it!"

"Rude?" Skylar's eyes suddenly lit up, practically narrowing into slits as she glowered down at the woman. "You want to know what's rude? The fact that you had decided to flirt with another woman's man—the fact that even after said woman came back you still felt you had the right to continue sitting here with your hand on his arm!" she snapped right back, shifting around in her seat as her fingers began to twitch and looked ready to curl up into a fist when she saw the hateful way the woman glared right back at her. For a minute, Zoro thought he was going to have to drag the brunette out of the bar before a fight broke out—especially when he saw the way the woman opened her mouth and looked about ready to say something. Only to suddenly stop and clamp her mouth shut as she opted instead to shakily stand up on her legs and storm away with a huff.

Zoro wondered if her reasoning for backing down had been because the attention and whispers of the other patrons had finally gotten to her or because she had finally taken notice of the swords that rested on Skylar's hip and the throwing knives that were wrapped around her thigh. Both becoming a clear sign to her that the brunette wasn't really someone she'd want to mess with in a fight.

"Huh, I never thought I'd see the day were you get aggressive with a stranger" Zoro hummed, his lips curving upwards as he watched how the brunette simply crossed her arms and huffed as she kept her back facing him. "What? Mad at me too?"

"You should know better than to go and let other women talk to and touch you like that" he heard her grumble as she turned her head to peer back at him with puffed out and redden cheeks as a pout pulled at her lips. Such a sight caused him to chuckle as he took a moment to enjoy just how cute she looked before finally he gently reached over and took hold of her chin as he spun her seat around so that she was now facing him. Tilting his own head, he leaned forward and pressed a sweet kiss to her lips.

"You know...you're really cute when you're jealous" he breathed out the second he pulled away, smirking in satisfaction as he watched how her blush darkened in color—laughing as she harshly jerked back and away from him.

"I-I'm not j-jealous, idiot!" she sputtered out in embarrassment, hands flying up to cover her face and hide her blush which only caused him to laugh even more.
