I was trying to write Phoenixshadow666 's prompt- Nico sings a song. But then it ended up like this... Sorry! I'll try to write the actual prompt next time!

DON'T PLAY SONG UNTIL I SAY SO

Cindy's P.O.V.

If you don't know me, you must be living in a cave, with a girl who loves to paint.

I am the glorious Cindy McHiggins (Sorry, if this is your name)

My daddy is the Mayor of the town, so I'm like the Queen of the school.

I have real platinum blonde hair *cough* and blue eyes *cough* Everyone LOVES me! *cough*
I've dated almost every boy in the school. I say almost because there is one kid who I haven't dated.

Nico di Angelo

He turns everyone down for some reason. Though, I know he's waiting for me.

"Class, remember we're going to our Field Trip to see the Talent show at Richards High (IDK)"

For some reason, Nico perked up and slightly smiled.

Whatever maybe he just has a friend over there or something.

She was approaching Nico, at dismissal, when he ran over to a car, which had a girl with shoulder-length curly cinnamon brown hair and gold eyes. His girlfriend.

My suspicions were confirmed when he kissed her on the cheek.

Whatever he'll dump her for me.

-------Time Skip---------

Everyone piled into the bus, and I sat down next to Nico, who was staring out the window.

"Hey, Neeks!"

He looked at me warily, "Don't call me Neeks."

"Whatever, you want to go to the movies tonight?"

"No" He looked back at the window.

"What do you mean, No?"

"I mean, No."

"Is this about your girlfriend? You can dump her sorry **** for me!"

"What are you talking about? I don't have a girlfriend. And even if I did, why would I date you?"

I ignored his last statement, "Then what about the girl you kissed in the car?"

He looked annoyed, "Hazel's my sister."

And went back to looking out the window.

ohhhhhh, that girl was his sister! That's a relief, and he doesn't have a girlfriend either, which is also a relief.

----Time Skip to them waiting in the Gym----

I didn't really listen to the show that much, but I had to admit it was good.

Suddenly, a guy with sun-kissed blonde hair, cerulean blue eyes, and freckles came onto the stage.

Nico perked up, and his eyes brightened.

I guess this was his friend.

"Hey, guys! The name's Will Solace, and I'm singing this for a special someone.

Everyone in the audience began looking for the person. The person in question pretending to cough.

PLAY THE SONG

  Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh-ohhhhh

Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh-ohhhhh

This is an anthem for the homesick, for the beaten,
The lost, the broke, the defeated.
A song for the heartsick, for the standbys,
Living life in the shadow of a goodbye.

Do you remember when we learned how to fly?
We'd play make-believe; we were young and had time on our side.
You're stuck on the ground,
Got lost, can't be found.
Just remember that you're still alive.

I'll carry you home.
No, you're not alone.
Keep marching on,
This is worth fighting for,
You know we've all got battle scars.
You've had enough,
But just don't give up.
Stick to your guns,
You are worth fighting for.
You know we've all got battle scars.
Keep marching on.

This is a call to the soldiers, the fighters,
The young, the innocent, and righteous.
We've got a little room to grow.
Better days are near,
Hope is so much stronger than fear.

So if you jump, kid, don't be scared to fall.
We'll be kings and queens in this dream, all for one, one for all.
You can light up the dark,
There's a fire in your heart,
Burning brighter than ever before.

I'll carry you home.
No, you're not alone.
Keep marching on,
This is worth fighting for,
You know we've all got battle scars.
You've had enough,
But just don't give up.
Stick to your guns,
You are worth fighting for.
You know we've all got battle scars.
Keep marching on.

On and on, like we're living on a broken record.
Hope is strong, but misery's a little quicker.
Sit, and we wait, and we drown there,
Thinking, "Why bother playing when it's unfair?"
They say life's a waste, I say they lack belief.
They tell me luck will travel, I tell 'em that's why I've got feet.
Left, right, left, right,
Moving along to the pulse of a heartbeat.
This could be the last chance you have to fly.
Do you like the ground? Want it to pass you by?
Man, you had it all when you were just a kid.
Do you even remember who you were back then?
What do you want in life? Will you be twice as strong?
What would you sacrifice? What are you waiting on?
Don't stop, march on.

I'll carry you home.
No, you're not alone.
Keep marching on,
This is worth fighting for,
You know we've all got battle scars.
You've had enough,
But just don't give up.
Stick to your guns,
You are worth fighting for.
You know we've all got battle scars.
Keep marching on.

Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh-ohhhhh

Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh
Oh-ohhhh-oh-ohhhh-ohhhhh

Keep marching on.

As he was singing these pictures appeared in the back.

The first one showed an excitable kid talking to a girl who looked similar to him.

A few more were just like the first one, but the others had various people dressed in orange shirts.

But then, the kid changed. Instead of wearing bright colors like in the previous pictures, he was dressed from head to toe in all black, excluding a brown aviator's jacket.

But he wasn't the only person in the picture, with him there was another person, one that was dressed in the same orange t-shirt like in the other pictures.

I look over at Nico and was surprised at what I saw. He looked rather sad, his eyes were shielded with a thin layer of tears, but in spite of the tears that were starting to gather up in his eyes, his lips were plastered in a smile.

The person that was smiling looked rather familiar though, it was as if I knew him.

Then it hit me. That kid was Nico fuzzing di Angelo

But I couldn't dwell over the picture for too long because it was quick to change over to another one.

This picture looked more on the happier side though, there stood two people, one of whom was Nico. He appeared much happier, no more did his eyes look as if he'd given up, instead a bright smile was etched onto his face. With him stood a girl with a purple shirt, but I couldn't analyze her expression since the picture changed once again.

The next pictures zoomed by pretty fast, but one thing that stuck out was that they were all wearing purple and orange shirts. It seemed interesting that all the pictures at least had to have one of the colored t-shirts included in them. I didn't put too much thought into it though since I was already facing yet another picture.

Will was holding Nico's hand and was laughing at the grumpy expression that was placed on Nico's face.
But soon enough, in the next picture, the expression turned into that of laughter.

As the next picture flashed onto the screen, the two boys were seen wearing flower crowns and beaming at each other.

More pictures were being screened but the last one I noticed was the one where Nico and Will were in a tight embrace.

Suddenly Nico stood up and ran to the stage, where Will stood waiting.

And they hugged.

It was actually a little cute.

Then something else, unexpected happened.

They kissed.

They fudging kissed.

But, I didn't care anymore. After seeing this guy's thing, I realized they had something. They were just right. It's wasn't fair for her to try and break up the special thing they had.

When the show ended, Nico and Will were talking, laughing, and holding hands.

I approached them, and said, "Hey Nico... I wanted to apologize, for you know trying to ask you out, and being a jerk overall."

He smiled, a genuine smile, "It's okay, I forgive you. But, I have a feeling you're not done yet."

After the visit was over, we all piled into the bus. Nico voluntarily sat next to me and smiled. That's when I realized. I made my first friend. My first real friend.

Later as I sat on my bed, I said to myself, "I- I think I'm ready to be myself" and for some reason, I began crying. But, I was also beaming from ear to ear.

Looking into the mirror, I realized what a hassle it was to manage my hair, put on so much makeup. And honestly, those contacts made my eyes itch so much.

It's so strange how meeting one person can change your life so much.

And that was how I met Solangelo.

What do you think?!

I liked this one to tell the truth :)
