Will's POV
Nico could literally sleep anywhere, whether that was on a bus, the middle of a party, or taped upside down on the wall (don't ask..). Today was not an exception.
The smol bean was resting on his shoulder as they waited to be called forward by the Bank Lady. He mumbled something about croissants in his sleep and snuggled deeper in.
"Number 136?" the lady called looking up. Will looked down at his little ticket and realized it was his turn. Looking down at his boyfriend he tried to shrug him awake, "C'mon Neeks. I gotta get up."
Clearly not hearing him Will sighed and tried to get up without hurting anyone. Of course, Nico was clinging to his arm. And of course, the lady was staring at him, waiting for him impatiently.
Somehow he was able to unwrap the boi from his grasp, put him down with killing him and make his way to counter. He also tripped over Nico's leg but that didn't happen.
"136" raising the ticket he smiled awkwardly at... Jane. Jame? Jane.
Giving him a tight smile she took the piece of paper and typed away at the computer. "So Mr. So-"
"EVERYONE ON THE GROUND. " A masked man yelled waving a gun around, "And don't you even think of pressing that button, ma'am. I've watched enough movies to know that." Jane yelped in surprise, "Ah- I- I wasn't-"
"On. The. Ground." he growled. Jane crawled out of the stall and they both lowered themselves next to the rest of the people.
Where's Nico,,, NICO. OH NO. Quickly directing his gaze towards the chairs he prayed, "please don't wake up. please don't wake up. "
But of course, that didn't happen
Rubbing his eye Nico stirred and sat up, "Will?..."
The robber,,, let's say his name was Jimothy, whipped the gun towards the chairs. "You. UP." Man, this guy only knew down and up huh...
Nico, realizing the situation stared agape at the man before slowly getting up with his hands raised.
"Come over here," he motioned towards the spot next to him. Wow. He knew another word.
Making his way to the man Nico was suddenly jerked forward because of how slow he was moving. The gun's barrel was pressed firmly against Nico's head as Jimothy held his arm in front of his boyfriend's next.
"Jeff get the money from the lady," Jimothy stated tightening his hold on Nico.
"Dude. Y- You just told everyone my name..." 'Jeff' said sulking.
"I'm sorry man."
"I'm gonna tell Mom." and with that, he walked towards Jane and said, "Up lady."
Jane stood up shaking and walked over to the counter with Jeff. But I saw what the brave women did, she pressed the button and walked over pretending she needed the keys.
Turning around he and Nico made eye contact before the child was roughly pushed to face the other side again.
But in that split second he saw the fear in his eyes. The sweat dripping down his face. All Will wanted to do was to help the love of his life.
Will grit his teeth and looked over at Jane who was trying to prolong the amount of time it took to get the money by saying she needed to make sure all the money wasn't fake.
"Jeff. You complete buffoon. Obviously, the money's real." Jimothy exclaimed in annoyance. He pushed back the (safety) and threatened, "Ya better be faster Missy, or I'm gonna blow this kid's brains all over the place" he grinned.
Will stood up, there was no way he was gonna let that happen, "Sit down Kid. I'm not messin around here. "
And right at that moment, the door slammed open to reveal fifteen police officers. Jimothy startled back in surprise.
Bang
A shot was heard going off, Will worriedly looked over and saw in dismay as Nico's body fell backward.
Silence
Will ran over to his boyfriend's body. "Nico? Nico?!" Looking over at Jimothy he noticed a red spot blossoming on his arm. Wait... then that meant.. peering behind him he saw one of the officers with a gun held up. Following after four of them ran after Jimothy and pinned him down.
Then Nico?
And to his complete shock, Nico was sleeping peacefully. "Nico.... your stupid idiot."
