~Marinette's POV~

I let Chat go, only to chase him down as Ladybug. I was mad at Chat for not telling me, but I couldn't just let him leave me forever. I had fallen too hard for that.

I had to tell him who I was, I had to get him to forgive me, no matter what. He had become my everything.

"Chat, let me in." I said, pulling away from whatever we had started. He looked at me, lost.

"My lady, I can't." He said, getting up and jumping off. My mind whirled, trying to figure out if it was what happened between us that hurt him so much or if it was something else entirely.

"I'm Marinette!" I yelled, hoping he heard me. If only he knew the huge mistake we had both made. I remembered when he had that cigarette, how easily he quit when I asked him to try.

"What are you talking about?" I heard a voice behind me ask. I turned, seeing Alya behind me. My eyes widened, realizing that she had been live streaming on her Lady blog.

"Alya, I..." I couldn't find the words. There was no way I could lie to her after all the drama between Chat and I.

"You said you were Marinette." She said, her eyes widened to an unbelievable size. I sighed, knowing I couldn't get out of this, especially when I was live.

"My name is Marinette Dupain-cheng, I am the protector of Paris." I announced, watching her as shock covered her features. My best friend.

"I was just going to try to get an interview from both you and chat since I knew you both meet at the Eiffel Tower for patrol, I didn't mean to." She was freaking out, having revealed the identity of one of her favorite superhero.

"Alya, please leave me." I said, turning back to the horizon. I heard her footsteps fade. She had left me to my own thoughts. I swung off the tower, flying to Adrien's house. We had to make up, one way or another.

I opened the window, feeling the warm air of his mansion fill me. I felt at home, filling with his scent. Adrien stood in the middle of the room, staring at me in surprise.

"Adrien, we need to talk, now." I said, walking to the boy I had fallen for twice. He flinched as I reached for his hand. I took it into my gloved one.

"Ladybug, what's this about?" His voice trembling slightly. He was nervous, scared even. I pulled him into me, kissing his ear slightly as I de-transformed. He gasped, letting me pull away slowly.

"It's me, Adrien." I said, nervousness taking over as I fiddled with my fingers. He started chuckling, all tension in the room dissipating. I smiled, jumping into him as he stood there laughing.

"Oh Marinette, princess, we are idiots!" He cried, swinging me around. I pulled him in for a kiss, feeling complete as we melted together. We were perfect for one another.

"Adrien, I'm sorry for hurting you. I couldn't think of anyone better to be with." I said, pulling away from our kiss before hand. He laughed, putting his forehead against mine and pecking my nose.
