He ran down the aisle, his hair bouncing behind him. I stood, feeling my heart pound in my chest. Excitement, relief, love, all of my emotions were jumbled up. I didn't know what to think, what to do. I was at a loss for words

He picked me up, swinging me around before he collapsed into me. He turned into putty, his arms wrapping around my plump body like I would disappear at any moment.

"This isn't real. It can't be real!" I cried, burying my face into his shoulder. He kissed my head, his own eyes filling with tears as he held me.

"I'm very real my love." He whispered to me. I broke down, pulling us to the floor.

"What happened to you? Why did you leave me like that?" I asked, he breathed in my scent, seemingly clearing his head before answering me.

"My mother found me and patched me up. It turns out that cataclysm can hurt the holder of the cat miraculous, but it can't kill them. It just put me out of commission for a few days. We didn't want my miraculous getting taken within my recovery time so we had me play dead." He explained, pulling away slightly to kiss my forehead.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, hurt and betrayal in my voice. He sighed, pulling me closer to him again.

"We needed you to act the way you would if I actually died to make it more believable. I'm sorry Marinette." He said, giving me a light squeeze before finally pulling away fully.

"We should get home." I said, leading him from the church while clinging to his arm. I couldn't loose him again.

Three months past. Adrien was not allowed out of my sight the whole time. I was so afraid of loosing my love. Adrien didn't seem to mind though as I was due anytime.

"We're going to be parents!" Adrien shouted, spinning around with a baby onesie in his hands. I laughed, putting a couple ladybug wall stickers on the wall.

We decided to go with a miraculous theme, putting all of the miraculous animals on the wall in different spots. He pulled a moth sticker off the pad, putting it beside the peacock I put up a few minutes before hand.

Ladybugs and black cats decorated most of the room though, Adrien wanted our children to be surrounded with good but mostly their parents superhero symbols. He said it would make them feel extra safe, but I thought he was just crazy.

"Tikki, can you put this all the way up there?" I asked the Kwami who flew around excitedly. She took the ladybug sticker from me and flew up to the ceiling, placing the sticker beside a cat one. I smiled, happy that my babies room was coming together.

I had moved into Adrien's mansion, wanting my children to have as much room as possible. Adrien was reluctant to let me or our children move in. He told me about how the mansion was big and lonely, but I insisted that we make it feel small and lively with a little interior decorating and new staff.

Natalie was arrested for helping Hawk Moth with his plan to take the miraculous. Gorilla, however, stayed. He had come to care for Adrien a little bit, having been a bodyguard for him for years. He refused to leave our sides. He told us he'd protect the babies once they were born.

"Do you think everything will work out?" I asked, watching Adrien wrestle with a sticker that stuck to his hand.

"I know everything will work out." He replied, finally getting the sticker to give his hand up. I laughed at him as he did a small victory dance.

"I love you Adr..." I was cut off by an immense pain in my stomach. I cried out, putting my hand on the area it hurt.

"Marinette! What's wrong?!" Adrien yelled, freaking out. He ran to my side, guiding me to a sitting position with Tikki and Plagg floating behind him, a scared look on both their faces.

"I think I'm in labor!" I answered, putting my hand on my plump stomach. Adrien started freaking out more, causing my anxiety to rise. I had gone to labor classes early into the pregnancy, making sure to keep them up throughout, but all that training slipped my mind.

"Marinette, breath." Tikki said, trying to calm me down. Plagg flew out of the room, going to find Adrien's mother who also lived with us.

"Tikki, I don't think I can do this! I'm not ready, I'm going to be a horrible mother!" I cried, self doubt now taking over with the anxiety. Adrien just laughed, his eyes tearing up as he went into full hysterical laughter.

"What's so funny?!" Adrien's mother asked as she came into the room with Plagg on her tail.

"Marinette, after all we've been through, doesn't think she's ready for motherhood." Adrien answered, wiping away tears from under his eyes. I gave him an angry, confused look, wanting to be mad at him but not able to.

"Oh Marinette, you've put you children above everything since the beginning of this pregnancy. You took classes, did research, and planned for all of the responsibility. You are very ready." Adrien's mother said, chuckling slightly to herself.

"How far dilated are you?" Adrien asked, now it was my time to laugh at his panicked face.

"Adrien, I just went into labor, calm down." I said, picking up my phone to call Alya, Nino, and my parents. Adrien held my hand, offering the support I needed for the rest of that long night.

The sound of babies crying filled the hospital room, causing tears to spill from my eyes as I saw my children for the first time.

"One healthy boy and girl. What are you going to name them?" A nurse asked, her face bright with happiness. I smiled, taking my two babies from her.

"Emma and Hugo Agreste." I said, kissing their red, soft heads. Little tuffs of blue black hair stuck up from their heads, their eyes were a dull green. I couldn't help myself but to start crying.

They had my hair and Adrien's eyes. They were the perfect combination of their parents. Adrien took Hugo from me, nuzzling their noses together in an eskimo kiss.

"And so, our family begins." Adrien said, rocking Hugo while I started breastfeeding Emma. I chose only the healthiest food for my children, wanted them to grow up healthy as can be. Adrien, being the protective father he was, was all over that plan.

I was finally getting everything I wanted and I wouldn't change it for the world.
