Chapter 6

October 3rd, 2017

*Beep beep beep*

"Come on Reagan! Get up! We're gonna miss the flight!" My brother said trying to get me to wake up

"What flight?" I asked confused

"The flight to San Jose! The first game of the season is tomorrow." He explained

I shot up from my bed. I completely forgot about that. I pushed my brother out of my room and got dressed. I made sure everything I needed was packed and took my suitcase downstairs. My brother threw me a banana and some cereal and we rushed out the door. We arrived at the airport to see all of the guys sitting and waiting.

"It's about time you two showed up." Travis Konecny said and walked over to us.

"Well some of us like to sleep." Shayne said and glared at me

"What? You know I'm not a morning person." I tiredly argued.

The team laughed and the three of us walked over to the rest of them.

"I'm gonna go get a coffee. Anyone wanna come with?" I asked, kinda hoping Nolan would

"Yeah sure" Nolan said, getting up from his seat

The team told us everything they wanted and I had a hard time keeping track of everything.

"You got all that?" I asked Nolan hopefully

"Yeah don't worry." He replied reassuringly

The two of us ventured off to find the nearest Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. We eventually found one and Nolan ordered everything the guys wanted. I was so tired I could barely tell the barista I wanted a plain coffee. After paying, we walked back to the group, where Konecny and Ivan were whispering.

"You think they're talking bout us?" Nolan asked out of the blue

"I don't know, could be trying to set us up or something" I laughed "Wouldn't be the first time."

Nolan gave me a confused look. "What do you mean?"

"One time they tried to get me to go on a date with one of their friends. It was horrible. They guy and I had nothing in common." I chuckled

I saw his shoulders slump and he replied with an almost hopeless "Oh"

*Ivan's POV*

Nolan and Reagan went to grab some coffee for the team and I turned to Travis.

"They are so meant to be." I said to him

"What makes you say that?" he asked me

"Oh just look at the way they look at each other." I said and pointed to the two smiling at each other "They're obviously happy and Nolan already told me that he likes her."

Travis almost spit out his water he was drinking. "You're serious?" his eyes wide

I nodded "Yeah, and I'm trying to figure out if she likes him."

"Honestly who knows with her, she's impossible to try to figure out."

"I mean I think she does, she is almost always talking to him and seems like she wants to know him better."

"What's going on now?" Couturier asked as he joined us

"Just how Nolan likes Reagan." Travis shrugged

His eyes widened when he realized what he said.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Coots reassured
