Eren's POV:
"L-Levi...I wanna go s-see who it i-is..." i said with a little hope I would see my friends again, but Levi's earlier remark of having to kill whoever it was haunted me.
"You can't Eren ,you know the rule..." Levi replied
"They won't tell I promise, they will keep it a secret ,if not, the police can't find me and won't believe them, just please don't make me kill them"I cried, not knowing that my three friends were listening in, restraining themselves from snatching me away from Levi
"Tch...you have a point...don't be too long okay..." Levi said, making me throw my arms around him, "thank you so much" I smile, tears in my eyes, before letting go, walking into the dark hallway of the house, my friends were stood a small distance from me, amazed to see me alive. I run as fast as I could and hug Armin, Mikasa and Reiner joining the hug as we all cry. I moved away from them slightly so I could see them,
"I-is this real..?" I say in disbelief and sheer joy.
"Yes Eren, this is real" mikasa smiled softly, tears in eyes
"I know what was said in there, we all do, Eren you are coming home" Reiner said to me
I shook my head ,"I'm sorry but I can't, even if it were possible, the police would blame me for the murders..well...technically it was me...it doesn't matter it's very complicated..." I say
"Eren you are coming home," Reiner said, grabbing me by the wrist and started pulling me away.
"Stop!" I say
"No Eren, I love you, and to hear you go missing, do you know how hard that is to cope with?! You are coming back if it's the last thing I do!" He said still pulling me away
However, Levi appeared in his visible form, yanking Reiner's wrist away from mine and pulling me close. "He is staying here, nothing can be done about that, and for you to continue on with the lovey dovey shit?! Please! I kept watch on Eren very closely for his WHOLE LIFE ,he has told you countless times that he doesn't feel that way and likes you as a FRIEND, take example from mikasa and Armin,they show a good example because if Eren steps out of this door, HE WILL DIE. there is nothing he can do about it, there is nothing you can do about it, hell there is nothing I can do about it, and for the record, Eren's thoughts say it all...he loves me" Levi spoke truthfully, I love Levi with all my heart even after what happened.
"So watch your mouth, cadet" he said, it seemed to frighten Reiner a bit ,Armin and mikasa too. They have remembered what I haven't. The fact that in our past lives...we were soldiers..Wait, WE WERE SOLDIERS, THATS WHAT I WAS MISSING, THE TITANS, THE BASEMENT, THE SURVEY CORPS. EVERYTHING.
"L-Levi..I remember now..." I say ,shaking.
Levi nodded, before returning invisible.
Armin threw his arms around me, "I'm so sorry Eren, I don't want you to die so I can't save you from here, but I can promise you this, someday, you will be free again, we can go see the ocean together like we said right? It'll just take a while, time is on our side" Armin cried
"I hope so..." I reply "but everything Levi said is true, nothing we know of can get me out of here, a-and I don't want to leave him, it's true that I love him, I don't know why but I do..." that seemed to push one of Reiner's buttons
"I'm sorry Eren, but I'm still not giving up on you..." he said
"You know what,I'll figure something out, when I do, we can talk then" I say
Mikasa wrapped her arms around me "be safe, okay, if midget doesn't treat you well...then I won't even begin to explain what happens" she said with a scary face
"Okay mikasa"
"I'll see you soon Eren" Armin said
"Same here" Reiner said
"Okay, one last thing, if you tell ANYONE ,bad things are going to happen to me so please don't" I say
"Okay...goodbye Eren" they all say
"Goodbye" I say, the door shutting turning the hallway dark again.
I run into the previous room, "Levi ,I have an idea and you have to trust me, Okay?" I say, very seriously.
"I trust you Eren, what is it"
"You know those books in the other room, I read one once, it said something about the seal stopping me from leaving, it will kill me within 20 minutes of using it, but, I can make it to my basement in that time, my dad is a spiritual expert and worked on something to break these seals and another thing but I'll tell you that later, but you need to trust me on this one"
Levi could tell that I was determined and capable of doing this, he nodded, "we can't spend much time here ,you need to come with me Okay?" He nodded again
"Okay, lets go" I say ,leaving the room to the hallway, Levi following but invisible when I go outside, I start running as fast as possible to my house where my mother is, I dash past her, ignoring the fact that she is overwhelmed with joy and relief that I am back. I open the basement door, we are running on 5 minutes before I die. I practically go flying down the stairs and immediately start looking for the first thing to break the seal, I find it quite easily and immediately drink it, the necklace/choker broke and I was free. Finally, but, I'm not done here yet, I hand Levi a green liquid, "drink this please" I say ,him doing so. He became human again. I hug him so unbelievably tightly, Levi in shock that he was human and didn't have to stay in that rotten house anymore. We're free Levi.
