Day Three

"Harry!" I called out, looking at the boy with the sign in his hand as I waited at my usual red light.

I watched as the curly headed boy jogged over to my car window.

"Hi! Louis, right?" He said with a smirk.

"That is correct." I smiled. "How are you feeling today?"

"I'm feeling good today." He looked up at the beating sun. "Although it's hotter than Satan's big toe out here."

I laughed way harder than I should have. "You're funny."

He giggled, looking over at the red light turn green.

"I guess that's your cue." He frowned.

"Yeah.." I gripped the steering wheel. "I'll see you around."

"See you around." He bit his lip, watching as my car pulled away.

I plopped onto my couch, thinking about my boring day at work.

A smile grew upon my lips as my mind shifted to the homeless boy once again.

Harry.

Such a nice name

Such a nice name.

I sat back in my seat, trying to focus on the show I was watching..

But I couldn't.

All I could do was think about all the things I could do to help Harry.

"A pillow." I whispered to myself, remembering his poor head laid upon a hard bench.

I whipped my head over to my bedroom before running into it.

I noticed only one pillow placed upon my bed.

"Am I really going to give away my only pillow to a stranger?" I asked myself as I held it in my hands.

I shuttered to think about that sweet boy having to sleep on a hard surface another moment.

"I can always buy another one."

I gripped the pillow in my hand before making my way into my kitchen.

I grabbed a few granola bars and a couple bottled waters before making my way out of my house.
