Before writing this chapter I just want to acknowledge the fact August is out here healthy and it makes me happy to see this man with a smile on his face while he performed last night in London this man gained 20 lbs in 7 weeks and that just blew my mind. He's an dope individual PERIOD. I love that man so much ❤️ that's just one of the many pictures just look at all the black boy joy ugh it's gives me so much life. Charisma POV:

Slipping out of Aug's arms making sure not to wake him I slipped on my robe and house slippers making my way downstairs to make myself a cup of tea.

I couldn't sleep too well and when I tried going back to sleep I seen him and heard the sound of the gun Cam screams ringing in my ears.

Sighing I went to turn on the tea kettle taking out what I needed before I made my tea.

Sitting at the island I sat the cup down and began to cry into my hands I just felt physically, emotionally drained and exhausted.

I didn't want to wake August because I knew he had school in the morning. Even though I know he wouldn't mind I still didn't want to be a bother to him because he would have to wake up extra early for class and I didn't want to feel like I was keeping him up.

Sniffling I drank my tea in silence. After finishing I cleaned up my mess I made before making my way back up stairs to the bedroom.

Laying back in bed August arms automatically wrapped around my waist securely.

"Where you go?" He asked in a raspy voice

"Downstairs I couldn't sleep" I mumbled playing with his fingers

"Why you ain't wake me up baybeh" He sighed

Turning around now facing him "I know you have school in the morning I didn't want to be a bother"

"Charisma you come before allat shit I'on care to be tired man" He said "You my wife if somethin' botherin' you tell me and I'a be up wit' you; Bein' tired and all if you going through something we going thru that shit together as a couple, ya heard me?" Nodding my head "I need words mama"

"Yes" I said as a tear slipped my eye

Wiping it he pecked my lips letting them linger there "I love you so much" He pulled me closer so we was chest to chest

"I love you so much too"

"You ready ta' sleep?" He asked I shook my head laying on his chest hearing his heart beat

"When Duni coming home?" I asked missing her presence being here

"In the mornin' round prolly 9"

"Okay" I yawned

"Tired my baybeh" He said in a baby voice making me laugh a little

"Yes" I said kissing his neck then met him half way for a kiss

"Damn!" He said as I kissed him "Lay another one on ah' nigga" He said being silly

"You're so silly" I laughed pecking his lips once more

"Only trying to make you smile" He said smiling down at me making my heart skip a beat
