Three weeks later ..

Charisma POV

"Chasity please come on your dad will be here soon." I yelled from down the steps checking on Ayden seeing he was still was Nick Jr.

"Okay I have to get my toy for show and tell!" She yelled from upstairs

It's been a couple of weeks since everything happen and to say everything has change from seeing someone everyday to barely seeing them. He rented out a place and stayed there while I stayed at the house with the kids.

The kids didn't know what was going on all they knew was Mommy and Daddy wasn't in the same house anymore.

But oddly enough things worked out pretty well. He dropped them up for school and daycare, while I picked them and had them during the week and he had them Friday till Sunday night.

He tried everything getting my flowers delivered to the house and to my office almost everyday. Tried getting me all my favorites but it didn't work. Let's just say for the last few weeks anything you could think of he did trying to apologize.

I won't lie and say I don't miss him because I do but he have to understand my love couldn't be bought. He needed to prove to me that he was willing to show me that he changed.

Hearing the doorbell I opened the door seeing August stand there with his hands in his pockets.

"They ready?" He mumbled

"No Chasity needs to get her toy for show and tell." I opened the door wider to let him in

"When we gon' talk about it Charisma." He asked making me sigh

"Not now." I said pretending to clean something so I wouldn't have to look at him

"You hate me that much you can't een' look at me?"

"I don't hate you." It was the truth I didn't hate him it was like my heart rejected the hate I wanted to feel for him

Before he could respond Chasity came running down "Daddy!" She hugged his legs making him smile

"Wassam lah' baybeh you ready?" He bent down to her level

"Mhm look I'm bringing the babydoll you bought me." She grinned

"I see Ayden come on." He said getting his attention since he was watching tv

"Daddy when you coming back home?" Chasity suddenly asked making us look at each other

"Soon baybeh.." He looked directly at me while saying it

"Give me a kiss so you guys can go." They both kissed my cheek making me smile

"What about daddy kiss." Chasity said making August smirk

"I'll see you guys later, love you" I shook my head rolling my eyes but couldn't help but to chuckle

"We luh' you too." August spoke looking my body up and down and since I had on yoga pants and a tank top it wasn't helping

"Bye." I shook my head walking them to the door so I could lock it

"Can we talk bout it' soon?" He looked at me one last time

"I'll think about it." I said folding my arms across my chest

"You been saying that fa' weeks."

"August I'll think about it." I closing the door behind me blowing out a breath closing my eyes bitting down on my lip that was trembling
