Prologue

Unamed P.O.V.

There. It's done.

I took off my headphones in defeat. The tapes were made. I had them ready to send out to my bandmates. Each one made for them. Tomorrow is my last day.

My letter was also finished. I wrote it in my best writing. I'll leave it on the sink. They would see it.

I looked at the nine tapes on my desk as I rubbed my temples. I could feel a tear fall down my cheek. It was selfish. But I can't go on. Not like this.

It would break their hearts to find out they were some of the reasons I want to die. It would break them to know that. I've kept it a secret for so long, Soon the truth will come out.

But I had my reasons.

The hate got worse. My family's relationship got even more worse. I just can't be here anymore.

I couldn't fall asleep that night. Tossing and turning in bed, I thought about tomorrow. So many things are wrong with me.

Tomorrow is the day I kill myself.
