It was the first day of school and the butterflies in my stomach kept getting worse and worse with each step I took. Soon the butterflies turned into pigeons. And the pigeons turned into eagles. And the eagles turned into an ostrich. My first day jitters got worse and worst until I reached the school. Then they skyrocketed and I felt like I had eaten an elephant whole. I went to the office and soon the gasping started. I shut the door and hear laughing coming from the other side. I went to the principal and asked to have my schedule. Soon after he explained to me that I would get it in homeroom. Soon I heard the bell ring and when I left nobody was there. So I hurried off to room 211. Homeroom. Then the jitters got to me when I reached the stairs. I went to the nurse's office, room 108, and said I wasn't feeling well. Then I was sent home and when I arrived I barfed all over the bathroom floor. That day is the day where my first day jitters got the best of me.
