I walk through the hallway of the school  with Mr Washington something happened and I have 8th grade classes we get to the classroom we walk in and the class is looking at me and Mr Washington "class"Mr Washington voice boomed"this is your new classmate why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself"Mr Washington said"I'm Jacky Laurens and me and my family moved from South Carolina with my family"I squeak shy fully

"Please make her feel welcome and you can take a seat next to Alexander there"he says and points to a kid with cristle blue eyes and brown hair

I take a seat next to him once Mr Washington leaves everyone starts  chatting and doing work while the teacher grades test people are working around the class in there little groups but me.....I sit in my desk talking to no one if course I wouldn't talk to people I'm new

That means I have no friends

But it's ok I've never had a friend before I wonder  what it feels like

I can hear them whispering "she's kind of cute"

"Why is she so shy"

I finish my work early and don't know what to do with it so I start to draw a turtle when I hear"that really good"

I look up to see the kid Alexander? was it? Looking at my drawing"t-thanks"I squeak"I'm Alexander Hamilton and these are my friends pointing to the group behind him "that's Hercules,Lafayette, Eliza,Peggy,Aaron,Maria,and Theodosia"pointing at every person in the group"h-hello"I wave awkwardly

"I'm dating Eliza Hercules is dating Lafayette Peggy's dating Maria Theodosia is dating a-aron" I smile softly"And from this day forward we are your new best friends ya got me" Peggy?say"got'cha"I say

I smile softly is this what having friends feel like?
