Amy's P.O.V

It's was 6am and I was sat on the rope swing watching the sunrise. Last nights party had been mental and so much fun but I couldn't wait to get back to reality. I was swinging back and forth when I saw Josh approaching me with a smile on his face.

"Good morning songbird." He said cheerily as he sat on the floor next to my swing.

"Good morning." I smiled, slowing the swing down and getting off to sit on the floor beside him. I leant my head against his shoulder and he put his arm around my waist.

"It was a good night last night. I look forward to your future parties." He chuckled, gently stroking my side with his thumb.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Somehow I feel Estelle didn't enjoy it..." I sighed. "Last night was meant to be for just letting loose after everything. I felt she was holding back."

"You mean being responsible?" He laughed.

"Yeah! When she didn't need to." I sighed falling back onto the grass and looking up at the sky. Josh laid beside me following the course of my eyes with his.

"Maybe she wanted to look out for you? I mean you can understand why." He said playing with my hair.

"I guess... But I'm 1000% better than I was!" I groaned. "I just wish last night I'd focused on me and her instead of me and you... No offence."

"None taken. I get she's your best mate and you wish you'd made sure she was okay. But you were drunk. You can't blame yourself for not staying with her all night." He smiled, turning his head to kiss my cheek.

"I suppose." I sighed. "Do you think we'll hang out more around school? With Evan and Rebecca I mean?"

"I don't see why not. I'd like that." He said sitting up. "You know what? I'm fed up of Cavan. Shall we go out for a day?"

"What, like now?" I laughed as he pulled me up off of the floor.

"Yeah! There's a bus to Dublin in 20 mins!" He cheered. "What do ya say?"

"Well I need to get changed and washed." I chuckled, blushing slightly.

"Better go and hurry up then." He laughed. Meet me at my back door in 10 yeah?"

"Erm sure!" I laughed, running down the path and into my house. I'd managed to clean up after everyone went home at about 4am. I ran upstairs and quickly changed out my pyjamas into some jeans and a t-shirt before applying minimal makeup. I stuffed whatever I could into my handbag and run out my back door again.

I made to Josh's literally 7 minutes later to see he'd got changed too. He was in jeans and a shirt now apposed to the t-shirt he had on previously.

"Shall we get going then?" He asked, smiling at me.

"Sure! Lead the way." I smiled, following him out his front door and to the bus stop at the bottom of the street.

We stood waiting for 10 minutes laughing and joking till it arrived. We got in and took our seats near the back which seemed to be empty. I sat in the window seat and Josh sat down beside me.

"Why don't you try and get some sleep songbird? We've got quite a way to go yet." He smiled, moving my hair out my face.

"Mhm..." I mumbled, leaning against him and letting my eyelids fall shut.

About 2 hours later I would up to Josh gently tapping my shoulder.

"C'mon songbird, were here." He smiled, standing up and holding his hand out to me.

We walked through the bus station and out into the sunny city of Dublin. The rush of people was crazy compared to Cavan. It was so busy! Me and Josh walked for a while until I saw a poster for Dublin castle which made me stop dead in my tracks.

"Oh my god! Josh can we please go!?" I pleaded, tugging on his shirt like a 5 year old child.

"Okay okay." He chuckled, taking my hand and his and walking into the tourist attraction centre and buying 2 castle passes.

We walked round the castle and its grounds before trying to decide where to eat. In the end we decided on an Italian restaurant where we decided to share a pizza while we looked through the photos from today.

"You look cute here." Josh chuckled, turning the camera round and showing me a photo of me at the castle. I was stood looking up at the turret as the sun shone directly onto the side of my face.

"That's actually half decent." I chuckled before continuing to look through. "Hey this is nice, we actually look like a couple."

"Ahaha! Yeah we kinda do a bit." He laughed, biting into his pizza. "What do you think to that idea?"

"What, being a couple?" I laughed, not looking up from the camera.

"Yeah..." He said, smiling faintly as I looked up.

"Wait are you being serious? What about everyone else?" I asked, putting the camera down.

"I don't care about everyone else. If Evan and Rebecca can be together, then why can't we? Amy I really fucking like you okay. And I want you to be my girlfriend." He said, a little quickly making me stop dead.

"What did you just say?" I asked, blushing.

"Please don't make me say it again." He said, laughing slightly before covering his face.

"No go one. Ask me properly." I smirked, giggling at the redness of his cheeks.

"Amy will you please be my girlfriend?"

"Of course!" I cheered leaning over the table and pizza to quickly plant a kiss on his lips. "See it wasn't that hard was it?"

"I guess not." He chuckled, continuing to eat the pizza.

"One thing though." I sighed.

"Yeah?"

"Can we not tell anyone yet? Especially Elle. At least until she trusts you all?" I asked, sheepishly looking down.

"Anything for you." He smiled, reaching for my hand. "I won't tell a soul. I'll leave that to you."

"Thank you Josh." I smiled, returning to my pizza. "I'm really enjoying myself."

"Me too. We should do this more often."

"Definitely."
