~Damien's POV~
As I walked into my future workplace, i took a deep breath and counted my blessings. I had just been hired at a place called smosh, and i would make youtube videos for a living. I was genuinely excited for my future here.
I walked into the tall office building and got on the elevator, holding my phone in my hand while listening to the classical music softly playing through my earbuds.
When I got off on my floor, I was so deep into my phone that I didn't see where i was going. I collided with another person, and for a split second I could've sworn I blacked out. I saw another man fall to the ground and drop his papers.
"Oh my gosh, i'm so sorry, I wasn't looking." I blurted, helping pick up the papers he dropped.
"It's fine, i'm allri- Damien?" I heard the other man say.
I looked up to find the face of my old best friend from our teenage years. Shayne Topp, the man i would later marry.
