You and Derek had been together for a long time. So when he told you not to get involved in something, you would think you would learn to listen by now.
Derek had been telling you about some boys on the basketball team, and how they treat him like crap. You wanted to get involved, like a supportive girlfriend, but he wouldn't let you. One day after school, you saw these boys, and knew you needed to take your shot.
"Hey!"
"Aww, if it isn't miss Y/N. What can we do for you?"
"You can leave my boyfriend alone, that's what you can do."
"Or what?"
"You don't want to know." The boy stepped towards you. He grabbed you and pinned you against the lockers.
"Oh really you little bi—"
"What the hell is going on here!" Derek threw the guy off of you and punched him in the face. His friends picked him up and they all ran away.
"Y/N, what was that?"
"I was defending you!"
"I can do that myself, babe."
You looked at him with somewhat defeat.
"Maybe you were right." You said, and sighed.
