You were a very social person compared to your boyfriend, Derek. This meant you got invited to a lot of things. Around this time of year, your friend hosts a couples costume party. It took more than you expected to get Derek to go, but he finally agreed.
You had gone to the costume shop and searched the whole store, only to find that they had no mens costumes left. You decided to get one that closely matched yours.
When you got home, Derek was in the kitchen.
"Babe! I got our costumes!" You said excitedly.
"Oh, yay." You could hear the sarcasm in his voice. You pulled the costumes out of the bag, and he just looked at you, confused.
"Well they were all out of mens costumes so..." You started explaining why you had picked a Wonder Woman costume for him.
