You hadn't heard from Derek since you walked out of the loft last night, and you didn't understand why. Did you do something wrong? Was what he went through that bad that he wouldn't tell his own girlfriend about it?
While you were working your volunteer shift at the hospital, Derek decided it was time to tell you what really happened.

He was waiting in the hallway for you, more nervous than he had ever been before.
"Der?" You called from down the hallway. He immediately stood up and approached you.
"I need to tell you something."
"Is it why you've been so distant with me?" You questioned. Derek nodded his head.
"When you were out on that trip with Scott and them, I was in really bad condition. I needed to heal." As he was explaining, you were confused. "I slept with Jennifer Blake to heal myself." You just looked at him, wide eyed.
"What?"
"Y/N, I'm so sorry."
"How could you? After everything Derek!" You slapped his arm, knowing it wouldn't hurt him, even though you wished it would.
"Y/N-"
"No! I know you didn't do it just to heal. You would've healed eventually or waited for me to get home. I can't believe you!"
"I'm sorry! I truly am."
"I don't even want your apologies. Just leave me the hell alone Derek!"
You ran out of the hospital as fast as you could. Too many emotions were hitting you, and you needed to get away. You ran into the woods, as far as your legs could take you. You then just stopped and cried. Feeling almost nothing at all.
Derek could hear you, and for the first time, he cried too. Because he knows he lost the best thing that ever happened to him.
